2. Mise en scene – Pop magazine
 Colour scheme will be vibrant, lively and elegant at the
same time, as it is inspired on Billboard magazine. The
same pattern of colours will be seen throughout the
whole front cover.
 Dress codes of a Pop magazine usually include
fashionable clothing. My model will wear a simple but
stylish outfit (similar to the two covers at the right) to
conform to other magazines of this genre.
 Body language will not be too provocative as the
magazine is aimed mostly at teenagers. This age group
will be represented with a natural and effortless pose.
 Props will not actually show in the front cover like other
magazines, for example, a guitar is shown in a Rock
magazine, rather they will be used in the model to
create her look; make up, accessories, etc.
 Most Pop front covers have a background of only one
colour. My location will consist of a clean background,
not colourful or with too much information, the model
will be the main centre of attention, as also shown in the
examples at the right.

3. Shooting
 As mentioned before I will shoot my images so that they have a clean and
one colour background, this could simply be a wall or edited on Photoshop.
A unusual location is not needed like it is for other genres, for example, a
Country music magazine’s location would have to be a farm, nature, etc.
 Either a professional Canon camera or an iPhone 6 will be my equipment.
 I will take a range of different pictures, in different formats, poses, styles,
etc., I will edit the pictures by using an editing software (still not chosen), and
at the end there will be a variety of images to choose from as the main one.

4. Double Page Spread
 My double page spread’s narrative will
be an interview with a global
phenomenon. A very well known singer,
who will discuss about her life story,
career, personal life, etc. This is what
almost all double page spreads of Pop
magazines are about.
