This document outlines a pitch for a new rock/indie music magazine. The target audience is younger adults aged 16+ who enjoy reading about their favorite bands, concert locations, festivals, and new artists. The magazine will focus on exclusive content like posters and interviews to stand out from competitors like Kerrang and NME. Some potential masthead names are proposed, with "Bullet" being the top choice as it reflects the attitude of rock music. The potential target audience will be younger adults aged
16+ who usually buy magazines once a week and want to
find out about the latest bands/ news and concerts.
USP: Exclusive Posters and articles about particular bands.
Publishers: Bauer Media Group – Publishers of kerrang.
Dennis Publishing- Compete with kerrang and NME- IPC

This will be my main story which will be carried through the front cover, contents
page and double page spread.

9. Models
The models need to suit the indie/rock genre of the magazine. They will
have to have attitude and punk rock fashion. They will need to relate to
the stories which will be displayed on the cover, contents and double
page spread of the magazine e.g. if the story is about a boy band the
main image on the front cover will need to be a boy who can be seen
as the lead singer of the band and who has a indie/ rock appearance.
I will look at a various selection of models and decide who suits best for
the magazine.

10. Locations
The locations for my pictures need to be set in a places which relate to the
story. For example, if the story is an interview about a certain artist and they
are talking about their past life and how they felt trapped then the pictures
can be of the artist in an isolated room.
