2. Masthead
Masthead, is typically seen as the magazine front title. It is
typically the biggest font on the cover and is rather bold so
that’s its easy to see for readers to recognise and make out
the brand, genre, theme and identity of the magazine.

3. Tag Line
Promotes the magazine, but also more information
regarding the theme, genre and information of the film.
Gives readers more information regarding the magazines
content.

4. Main Cover Lines
Presents the features and outlines what the
feature would be about, giving readers an idea
towards what they will be reading upon
choosing to purchase the magazine. Provides
content and detail regarding the central
information to make the image more
understandable.

5. Cover Lines
Typically found around the central image. Includes this to
provide readers with more storyline features to include a
wide range to keep them excited but also engaged, this
information covers for the secondary features but some
also related back to the main cover lines too.

6. Skyline
Is typically found whilst presented additional storyline
features to give readers more for what they are reading.
This information is presented in a strip of features so its
easy to find and skim read what other features could be
seen inside the magazine. This is typically placed at the
bottom of the page.

7. Promotional Flashes
These promote the magazine cover and reaches out to
readers to show off their reputation. This entices the
readers to purchase the magazine through positive
promotional features. This is promotional as sometimes
these flashes contain exclusive promotions and brands.

8. Additional Information
Typically the smallest font found on the front cover of the
magazine and perhaps feature information such as price,
issue number and date to give additional information
regarding the issue to readers.

content, is used to entice readers in.
