Background and history of the company
There’s different type of tiles which are ceramic & porcelain tiles. This tiles are classified
as an inorganic material which does not have any metallic materials that revolves around us.
Tiles can be used on both walls and floors.
As a group of 6 from a quantity surveying company, we have been exposed to different
type of tiles and other building materials. From our understanding and exposure on site, we
realized that tiles are widely used and a lot of building uses tiles more often than other building
materials.
5 years after the global financial crisis that happened in 2008, we decided to work
alongside each other to open a company called Versace Flooring Sdn. Bhd. that sell & design
tiles in 2013 which collaborated with Versace, the fashion brand company from Italy.
The company started off small with one branch and grew successfully and sell tiles
within Kuala Lumpur. As the company grew bigger with reaching the sales of RM 60,000 /
monthly, Versace Flooring Sdn. Bhd. Open up more branches around Malaysia and outside
Malaysia. Our target customers are high level of the society that could afford the tiles under
collaboration with Versace, at the same time we still produce other tiles with ordinary design.

Short-Term, Mid-Term and Long-Term Goal
Short term goal
- To achieve high quality and in term of design and also the quality of the tiles
- To produce more new designs for the tiles so that the customers have more options
- To ensure our employee experience positive attitudes, good working environment, and
quality workmanship.
Midterm goal
- Able to partner with more well known company to produce much higher quality tiles
- To get recognition as a trust-worthy construction company in the construction industry
Long term goal
- To become the top company that produce tiles in Malaysia
- To expand our company by opening branches in the main city of each country.
- To achieve RM 1.5 million sale revenue each month

Organizational Structure / Chart
​Our company use a divisional structure, also called a product structure, break our organization
down into a number of self-contained divisions. A self-contained division is a collection of
functions that work together to produce a product and develop a strategy to compete.This two
divisions are created according to the type of products produced which are porcelain and
ceramic.

Due to the divisional structure is based on an extensive delegation of authority, the
performance of each division can be measured directly.This approach makes it much easier to
assign responsibility for actions and results. In particular, a division is run by its own
management group, which looks out for the best interests of the division.
Other than that ,the divisional structure works well in markets where there is a great deal of
competition, where local managers can quickly shift the direction of their businesses to respond
to changes in local conditions.Even though set up a complete set of functions within each
division, there are likely to be more employees in total than would be the case if the business had
instead been organized under a purely functional structure and more overhead cost to the
business yet this approach allows for an improved adaptation and implementation of overall
business strategies that better fit the demands of the local market.
Job Scope of Each Position In Our Company
A) Finance Department
i) Controller
● Develops and implements the Accounting Manual, accounting policies, coordinates
systems and procedures, and prepares operating data and special reports as required,
including interim and year-end financial statements. Maintains the company’s system of
accounts and keeps books and records on all company transactions and assets.
● Establishes, coordinates and administers, as an integral part of management, an adequate
plan for the control of operations including, profit planning, programs for capital
investing and financing, sales forecasts, expense budgets and cost standards, together
with necessary controls and procedures to effectuate the plan.
● Compares performance with operating plans and standards, and reports and interprets the
results of operations to all levels of management.
● Provides for the control and editing of all company orders, to insure conformity to
established policies and procedures, and to facilitate data control and retrieval of records
generated by these orders.

● Establishes and administers tax policies and procedures.
● Supervises or coordinates the preparation of reports to government agencies.
● Coordinates all matters of business between the company and its stock transfer agents
and registrars.
● Assures protection for the assets of the business through internal control, internal auditing
and assuring proper insurance coverage.
● Assists Marketing in establishing and maintaining product pricing policies.
ii) Accountant
● Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account
information.
● Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
● Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
● Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet,
profit and loss statement, and other reports.
● Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
● Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
● Guides accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
● Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
● Secures financial information by completing data base backups.
● Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
● Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting
policy and regulations.
B) Sales & Marketing Department
i) Sales & Marketing Director
● Oversee day-to-day sales, monitoring, and forecasting to better understand the market
● Continually assess our marketing techniques and their efficacy in affecting sales
● Stay up-to-date on current market trends

C) Information Technology Department
i) IT Director
● Ensuring strategic capacity planning
● Managing all or part of the IT department, including directly supervising some
employees, hiring certain members, and handling employee concerns and performance
● Communicating with the technology team and other departments as collaboration
requires
● Determining business requirements for IT systems
● Coordinating IT activities to ensure data availability and network services with as little
downtime as necessary

E) Human Resources Department
i) Human Resource Administrator
● Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all
positions.
● Maintains organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing
program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit
interviews; recommending changes.
● Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and
training programs.
● Maintains a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys; scheduling and conducting job
evaluations; preparing pay budgets; monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions;
recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions.
● Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training
managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with
employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and
supervisors.
● Maintains employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying
and assessing benefit needs and trends; recommending benefit programs to management;
directing the processing of benefit claims; obtaining and evaluating benefit contract bids;
awarding benefit contracts; designing and conducting educational programs on benefit
programs.
● Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource
federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records;
representing the organization at hearings.
● Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human
resource policies and procedures.
● Maintains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system;
keeping past and current records.

Strategic Planning
Performance Level
- Recruitment of design team members should be well standardized to ensure the
performance level is maintained.
- The company strength relies on the strong focus on innovation. Versace Tiles endeavors
to reach customer satisfaction with continuous innovation and delivering trends to
customer with cost effectively. The company also introduce new concepts and designs
that will meet the evolving tastes of the customers. The key to achieve this goal is to keep
on hiring new, young, outgoing employees, who are well trained managers about the
modern management knowledge.
Direct Distribution
- Establish exclusive showroom or display centres in the cities at different states. This is an
expensive model as it requires setting up of showrooms and deployment of staff and sale
agents. Our company who have collaborated with distributors and importers from
Versace fashion brand company could provide extended support to Indian companies in
displaying and promoting their products at such exhibitions by providing samples for
display, discounts on products and by sending a representative from Italy to such trade
fairs.
- Attend and participate in various promotional events where tile importers and Versace,
the fashion brand company. This helps in promoting our company to the world.

Design Support
- The designers and design studios specifically focus on making ceramic tiles more
attractive and user friendly. Our company plan to take support from Versace fashion
brand company in Italy for designs, inks, machinery and other technologies.
- The most important assets of the business is the employees and their development and
safety in the company is important to keep track off, so that it helps the company to
achieve our corporate goals. exporters display their products.
Market Potential
- The improved living standard coupled with good economic situation along with
supporting government policies for housing sector speak itself for the demand for our
products. As we mentioned our targeted customers are high level of society, thus with the
name of Versace and their seasons design, we believe the customers will like to afford
them for high standard living environment.
- Side by side population growth is also creating a positive demand position of these
products. For the other tiles that is not collaborated with Versace, with our marketing
strategies, these items form an essential and integral part of consuming sector like
housing, educational and research institutions, hospitals, industries, hotels, restaurants,
cinema halls and other public places.

Organizational Culture
Organizational culture can define as value and behaviours that contribute to the unique social and
psychological environment of an organization. These values and behaviours have a strong
influence on the people in the organization. Simply stated, organizational culture is “the way
things are done around here”.
There are 4 common types of organizational culture that have been published in society which is
Clan Culture, Adhocracy Culture, Market Culture and Hierarchy Culture.
Our company belongs to Adhocracy culture. The company having adhocracy culture create a
dynamic and creative working environment for employees. We allow employees take risks,
encourage experiments and innovation and also emphasize prominence. There is a strong
commitment in creating new standards, maintaining continuous improvement and constantly
finding creative solutions. The management team in this organisational culture tends to benefit
from innovation and creative new ways employees will find in solving problems.
We encourage employees to be innovation and dare to try new things because we are get on with
producing one of a kind/unique design of tiles and this is also one of our product’s
feature.Therefore,designers need to be creative and innovation to surprise the industry/society.
At the same time, our sales and marketing department always dare to try some creative and new
ways to publish our new products to society and customer to leave an impression for them on our
products and company. The management team also keep an eye and making sure we are using
the latest technology and software in producing, designing and managing to increase the
effectiveness and quality of our product and service.
In addition,we ensure our employees always keep an eye on the marketplace to see where they
can respond to take advantage. As an example, we had make decision on collaborated with other
branded companies.We had successfully gain the attention from society and our sales and

popularity had increase hastily due to the collaboration and we were created a precedent on tiles
company collaborate with other branded companies.
On the other hand, during each department meeting managers are welcome every one of the
department members to join and share their opinion no matter you are a new employee or
internship student, people would like to listen to your opinion.
Lastly, organizational culture actually influencing other organizational outcomes such as
productivity,employee engagement, and commitment. Good organizational cultures will helps
the employer and company in HR human resources also. Hence, it is important to understand
own company organizational culture because it does affect a lot so as an employer can make
changes in the first moments to make the company continuously improve. In a nutshell, one
thing is undoubtedly known about culture: It is constantly being created, changed, and splintered
to ensure the success of its parent organization.

Why Versace Flooring Sdn. Bhd. wants to recruit 3 management trainees ?
As the Versace Flooring Sdn . Bhd . company grew bigger in the industry , there are more
branches around Malaysia as well as overseas . Due to the reason , our company will receive a
very large amount of purchasing order from clients , contractor , subcontractor and etc. Therefore
, our company requires more human resource or man power to operate and manage the tasks .
For future preparation , our company decided to train 3 management trainees who will become
the future managers for this company .
Before training any management trainee , our company will view all the candidates
resume and then select the suitable candidates which fulfill the criteria and requirements. Our
company will seek and target for candidates who are from outside of our company because
outside people may bring in new ideas and have wider range of experience in this industry .
Hence, external recruitment will be carried out by walk-ins , private employment agencies and
referrals from current and past employees .This will allow our company to recruit wider choices
of employees that fulfill the selection criteria and requirements of management trainee . To get a
better understanding of the shortlisted candidates , a few interview activities will be carried out
to ensure they are the right person who has the right skills and abilities to take up the role as a
manager in the future .
Job Description Of Management Trainee
Every company needs a manager who can take responsibilities and delegate the tasks to
respective employees . However , nowadays, it is difficult to find a candidate with management
material . Therefore , many companies like our company start to recruit management trainees so
that they can undergo training under supervision , gain knowledge and experience required for
getting promoted to managerial position .Since our company is using divisional organizational
structure , there will be divisional managers and department managers . Hence , if the
management trainee is placed in finance department , he or she must gain more experience in
producing good financial reports related to budgets , account payables , account receivables ,

expenses and etc . Besides that , management trainee should be trained methods of analysing ,
monitoring ,reviewing and managing our company’s budget . It is important to learn the skills to
develop strategies to minimize the financial risk of our company .
Roles and Responsibilities of Project Manager
● Responsible for daily or monthly operational reports
● Responsible for daily operations meeting minutes
● Responsible for analysing the quality of tiles supplied from manufacturer
● Operational cost/variance analysis
● Operational Management System compliance or administration
● Maintaining up to date slow moving and obsolete stock records
● Administer the Safety Health & Environment operation
● Learns line and staff functions, operations, management viewpoints and company
policies and practices that affect each phase of business.
● Sets long term and short term goals and objectives with top level management.
● Monitor the performance progress with management and key trainers regularly .
● Observes experienced employees to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and
standards required for performance of departmental duties.

Selection Criteria for Management Trainees
● Requirement of Bachelor degree in Business and Management
● Preferably people who has working experience and knowledge in construction and design
industry
● Have experience in leading or being admin of an event , clubs or society will be

Interview Activities
1.Pre-Screening Interview
A pre-screening interview will usually be conducted by human resource management
representatives who know the minimum requirements for vacant position .This will help to
narrow down applicants in the candidates selection process .
Thus , HR representative will only shortlist the qualified candidates that has a good match for the
management trainee position .
Telephone Interview
After the HR representative finish the list of interviewee who meet the selection criteria,they can
start to contact them and having a short conversation with them.Normally,they will using
telephone to contact them and having telephone interview with interviewees.This is considered
the initial stage of interview.​With the telephone interview there may not be direct/face to face
contact between the employer/HR representative and potential employee, however, the
expectations are still there. Telephone interviews are scheduled and questions are generally
prepared in advance.Basically,the questions asking during telephone interview is simpler and
easy compare with video interview which is the second stage of interview but still important for
the position they apply and it can be answer within fews minute or lesser.
Therefore, the human resource management representatives would start of with interviewee
personalities,career goals to be achieved ,and also job preferences. This is to allow them to know
more about the interviewee rather than justifying them from their resume.At the same time,they
will make appointment with all the interviewees for next stage which is video interview.

1.Are you willing to travel?
This is because our company having others branch at different states or overseas and sometimes
manager also need to visit the manufacturer to ensure the product’s quality.
2.Work history questions
The questions is included name of company interviewee working before , job title and job
description, dates of employment.This can help the HR representative understand the
interviewee’s working experience hastily.
3. What are your salary expectations?
This question can help both interviewer and interviewee understand both salary expectation for
this position and thinking carefully is the interviewee/himself suitable for the position or not.
2.Video Interview
Nowadays , technology in the world is getting more advance . Thus , many companies are
utilizing video interviewing to facilitate the interview process . Video Interview is a job
interview ​takes place remotely and uses video technology as the communication medium and it
is also the future of recruiting method .It allows hiring management trainees to conduct first
round interview before proceeding to the next round.
There are two main types of video interviews which is ​synchronous and
asynchronous​.Synchronous interviews are conducted live over the internet with both the
interviewer and the interviewee in attendance.In contrast, asynchronous video interviews are
recorded by the job seeker at a time convenient to them. Typically, the applicant responds to
questions displayed by the video interview platform. The hiring manager is not present for the
interview.

In addition,the options of video interview software can be classified into two,company or HR
representative can choose to conduct an online interview using popular, consumer-grade video
platforms, such as Skype or Facetime.This is the least expensive approach and is generally easy
to set up.On the contrary,the drawback is that the HR representative cannot record and review
the video interview.
The another main option is to use specialized video interviewing software such as Spark Hire
and HireVue.There is a lot special features or advantages for these type of video interviewing
software.But one of the drawback is required funds/relatively high capital to purchase/utilized it
for the hiring process.
Spark Hire
Spark Hire is a cloud-based video interviewing platform with options for one-way pre-recorded
interviews or live interviews.And there is other features include collaboration tools to comment,
rate and share interviews with others on the hiring team.All interviews (live or pre-recorded) can
be played back at any time to review a candidate’s responses.Interviewee and company
representative both parties can leave a comment under the video for opinion or review.To those
users who are interested to get a job from some particular companies,they can share their pre
recorded interview to the hiring team and they can also tagged some related terms/words under
their video to seek attention.Spark Hire also includes a mobile app for iOS and Android devices
so that applicants can do their interviews on the go.
HireVue
HireVue is a video intelligence for interviews which developed in conjunction with some of the
leading industrial-organizational (IO) psychologist.This software uses proprietary machine
learning algorithms and analyze data points found in the video interview to predicts the
interviewee future job performance.The data this system/software analyze including facial
expressions, eye-movements, body movements, details of clothes to help the company make

better hiring decisions and also avoid unconscious or intended bias such as affinity bias, gender
bias, school bias and racial bias during the selection process at the same time.
Our company choose synchronous because we can get the most veracity reaction and answer
from interviewees.And the video interview also is not editable compare with asynchronous so the
HR representative can understand and evaluate them accurately.
And we choose to use specialized video interviewing software which is Spark Hire and HireVue
in our video interview stage since our company having high capital and also because these
software can help us analyze all those interviewees,avoid HR representative bias and make a
better decisions.
Advantages of Video Interview :
1. Improve performance tracking
As much as a HR representative tries to ask the same questions of each candidate, it can be easy
to forget to cover a particular point or to go off track.After implementing video interviews into
their hiring process, the HR representative can take a look at those top interviewees and see if
their video responses had anything in common and also make a comparison with others
interviewee to choose the best one.
2.Create a convenient interview experience for passive candidates
Some of the interviewees may be is passive candidates or having introversion personality
but with excellent performance on working or academic.Having video interview can help them to
having interview at some comfortable and familiar environment such as their own
house.Therefore,they might having better performance during interview.

Regardless of the position for which you’re hiring, you inevitably want the person who fills the
role to have some degree of understanding about technology. In a subtle way, video interviewing

Leaderless Group Discussion
Leaderless Group Discussion ( LGD ) is a highly effective method to distinguish those who

Group discussion usually involves 6 to 12 candidates and 3 to 4 assessors . The assessors are
positioned so that they can clearly see the candidates assigned to them for the entire session .
Then , a group of candidates might be given a case study brief , for example , Ceramic Tile

From there , they would need to cooperate and make a decision acceptable to all within the time

First , each candidate is required to read through the case and take notes before discussing it with

their level of familiarity with an understanding of technology.
Moreover,we can test their time/task management skill also because to complete the exercise
within the time limit you should have good ability to manage their time and ability to priortize

Myers Briggs Test Indicator is a personality test that was developed by Katharine Cook Briggs

  • 4. Background and history of the company There’s different type of tiles which are ceramic & porcelain tiles. This tiles are classified as an inorganic material which does not have any metallic materials that revolves around us. Tiles can be used on both walls and floors. As a group of 6 from a quantity surveying company, we have been exposed to different type of tiles and other building materials. From our understanding and exposure on site, we realized that tiles are widely used and a lot of building uses tiles more often than other building materials. 5 years after the global financial crisis that happened in 2008, we decided to work alongside each other to open a company called Versace Flooring Sdn. Bhd. that sell & design tiles in 2013 which collaborated with Versace, the fashion brand company from Italy. The company started off small with one branch and grew successfully and sell tiles within Kuala Lumpur. As the company grew bigger with reaching the sales of RM 60,000 / monthly, Versace Flooring Sdn. Bhd. Open up more branches around Malaysia and outside Malaysia. Our target customers are high level of the society that could afford the tiles under collaboration with Versace, at the same time we still produce other tiles with ordinary design. 3

Short-Term, Mid-Term and Long-Term Goal Short term goal - To achieve high quality and in term of design and also the quality of the tiles - To produce more new designs for the tiles so that the customers have more options - To ensure our employee experience positive attitudes, good working environment, and quality workmanship. Midterm goal - Able to partner with more well known company to produce much higher quality tiles - To get recognition as a trust-worthy construction company in the construction industry Long term goal - To become the top company that produce tiles in Malaysia - To expand our company by opening branches in the main city of each country. - To achieve RM 1.5 million sale revenue each month 4
  • 6. Organizational Structure / Chart ​Our company use a divisional structure, also called a product structure, break our organization down into a number of self-contained divisions. A self-contained division is a collection of functions that work together to produce a product and develop a strategy to compete.This two divisions are created according to the type of products produced which are porcelain and ceramic. 5

Due to the divisional structure is based on an extensive delegation of authority, the performance of each division can be measured directly.This approach makes it much easier to assign responsibility for actions and results. In particular, a division is run by its own management group, which looks out for the best interests of the division. Other than that ,the divisional structure works well in markets where there is a great deal of competition, where local managers can quickly shift the direction of their businesses to respond to changes in local conditions.Even though set up a complete set of functions within each division, there are likely to be more employees in total than would be the case if the business had instead been organized under a purely functional structure and more overhead cost to the business yet this approach allows for an improved adaptation and implementation of overall business strategies that better fit the demands of the local market. Job Scope of Each Position In Our Company A) Finance Department i) Controller ● Develops and implements the Accounting Manual, accounting policies, coordinates systems and procedures, and prepares operating data and special reports as required, including interim and year-end financial statements. Maintains the company’s system of accounts and keeps books and records on all company transactions and assets. ● Establishes, coordinates and administers, as an integral part of management, an adequate plan for the control of operations including, profit planning, programs for capital investing and financing, sales forecasts, expense budgets and cost standards, together with necessary controls and procedures to effectuate the plan. ● Compares performance with operating plans and standards, and reports and interprets the results of operations to all levels of management. ● Provides for the control and editing of all company orders, to insure conformity to established policies and procedures, and to facilitate data control and retrieval of records generated by these orders. 6
  • 8. ● Establishes and administers tax policies and procedures. ● Supervises or coordinates the preparation of reports to government agencies. ● Coordinates all matters of business between the company and its stock transfer agents and registrars. ● Assures protection for the assets of the business through internal control, internal auditing and assuring proper insurance coverage. ● Assists Marketing in establishing and maintaining product pricing policies. ii) Accountant ● Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information. ● Documents financial transactions by entering account information. ● Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options. ● Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports. ● Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents. ● Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures. ● Guides accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions. ● Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information. ● Secures financial information by completing data base backups. ● Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements. ● Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations. Direct Distribution - Establish exclusive showroom or display centres in the cities at different states. This is an expensive model as it requires setting up of showrooms and deployment of staff and sale agents. Our company who have collaborated with distributors and importers from Versace fashion brand company could provide extended support to Indian companies in displaying and promoting their products at such exhibitions by providing samples for display, discounts on products and by sending a representative from Italy to such trade fairs. - Attend and participate in various promotional events where tile importers and Versace, the fashion brand company. Our company belongs to Adhocracy culture. The company having adhocracy culture create a dynamic and creative working environment for employees. We allow employees take risks, encourage experiments and innovation and also emphasize prominence. There is a strong commitment in creating new standards, maintaining continuous improvement and constantly finding creative solutions. The management team in this organisational culture tends to benefit from innovation and creative new ways employees will find in solving problems. We encourage employees to be innovation and dare to try new things because we are get on with producing one of a kind/unique design of tiles and this is also one of our product’s feature.Therefore,designers need to be creative and innovation to surprise the industry/society. The management team also keep an eye and making sure we are using the latest technology and software in producing, designing and managing to increase the effectiveness and quality of our product and service. Due to the reason , our company will receive a very large amount of purchasing order from clients , contractor , subcontractor and etc. Therefore , our company requires more human resource or man power to operate and manage the tasks . For future preparation , our company decided to train 3 management trainees who will become the future managers for this company . Before training any management trainee , our company will view all the candidates resume and then select the suitable candidates which fulfill the criteria and requirements. Our company will seek and target for candidates who are from outside of our company because outside people may bring in new ideas and have wider range of experience in this industry . Therefore , many companies like our company start to recruit management trainees so that they can undergo training under supervision , gain knowledge and experience required for getting promoted to managerial position .Since our company is using divisional organizational structure , there will be divisional managers and department managers . Group discussion usually involves 6 to 12 candidates and 3 to 4 assessors . The assessors are positioned so that they can clearly see the candidates assigned to them for the entire session . Then , a group of candidates might be given a case study brief , for example , Ceramic Tile Design: a Case Study of Collaborative New-Product Development in Fashion-Driven Chains . From there , they would need to cooperate and make a decision acceptable to all within the time limit( 15 to 20 minutes ) . First , each candidate is required to read through the case and take notes before discussing it with the others . During the discussion process , there will be a few assessor observing and evaluate each candidate . These assessor are not searching for a candidate that can make a good decision but rather how these candidates work as a team whereby everyone shares their own input and ideas . Assessors are more keen to find candidate who acquires skills in contributing instead of dominating .The assessors document everything they hear and observe about each person’s behaviour . If a candidate is an introvert person who is shy to give ideas , he or she should try their best to participate as a team . Besides that , every candidate should respect others by actively listening and not interrupting when they are giving own ideas as this will gain both assessors’ appreciation and other group member’s gratitude .The assessors will observe the situation , meanwhile , measures interpersonal skills ( teamwork , problem solving skills , group leadership and etc . ) of each candidate . 29

Moreover,we can test their time/task management skill also because to complete the exercise within the time limit you should have good ability to manage their time and ability to priortize the task . And also ability of planning and organising can be tested,the interviewee should know how to prioritising the right task, understanding what affect what, ability to deal with tasks within time frame(we only given 2 hours to complete all the works/tasks), manage diary clashes. E-tray exercise can also show how the interviewee solve the problem based on the objectives,managing resource constraints, other barriers, assessing problems or conflicts between tasks. Besides,since we only given 2 hours to complete the exercise,the interviewee should know how to analyze/evaluate the relative importance or urgency works to be complete and making accurate and quick decision within certain time limit.Giving certain time limit to them is the best chance to see how well they are to cope with the pressure,adapt to changes and how they use initiative to achieve the desired outcome. The test development occurred in the 1940s and was developed based on psychological research performed by Carl Jung in the 1920s . The test is carried out based on a list of questions that collect information of how a person normally responds or relates to different situations The purpose of this MBTI is helping a candidate to have more understanding about themselves and enhance their personal development . For your information , there will be no perfect combinations as all sixteen types of combination represent different personalities .Therefore ,human resource management people can use Myers Briggs Test indicator to know more about the candidate .This will facilitate their search for the right candidate to be selected as a management trainee . The human resource management people will asked all the candidates to take the online MBTI test. After the candidate had answered the questions , they will be calculated to determine the candidate’s individual personality type . Introversion (I) Introverted person is reserved , quiet and prefer to be alone at home to recharge . Introverts usually rely on themselves for entertainment rather than finding conversation or stimulation from others .They are usually self-sufficient and would rather work alone than in a team . Intuitive individuals are those who read between lines , tend to lean towards allusions as well as analyze things at greater depth.Therefore , the person with this character have a vision that may help our company to improve and be an innovative company . Thinking (T) Thinking individuals are very logical ,objective and rational is making a decision .So , their decisions and actions are usually controlled by their head than by their hearts.
