The draft Loudoun 2040 plan outlines how and where the County intends to grow and how it plans to protect its natural and historic assets. It also describes how the County will meet the basic needs of the community, as well as address housing and economic development. Loudoun County released an initial
draft plan in May 2018, and a revised
version in October 2018.
The final Planning Commission draft was
released March 26.

The 90 day timeclock for Board action on the
draft plan started on March 26.
Public Hearings
April 24 and April 27.
Advance sign-up starts April 5 at 8:30 a.m.
The Board will make revisions and could
approve a final plan in June 2019.
