I am going to shoot my film in the kitchen of my house where the ‘Murder’ has
taken place. I will turn it into a crime scene with the bodyon the floor with
press everywhere. I will also be filming outside of my house as Rufus and
Steven walk in out of the crime scene.
This will be where Rufus and Steven walk
through into the kitchen. Walk into the kitchen
and out. This will be the centre of the film
opening, as its going to be the main location
where everyone speaks. This location is
important because this is the point where the
boss meets them and where you get to know all
the characters.
The risks to filming in the kitchen would be the
slippy marble floor but by preventing this my
Actors will be wearing shoes. Another health
and safety risk would be the props they are
using such as drinking glasses, there is a high
risk of it smashing on the floor, shattering glass
everywhere. To prevent this I will talk to my
actors before hand to make sure they will
handle equipment with care and caution.
I have chosen this place to film because its an easy place to get to as it’s in my
house and it is a light and spacious area so its good for camera lighting which
makes it a great place to film at any time during the day. This location makes a
goos crime scene because the white walls reflect innocence which clashes with the
death that has taken place on the floor. The body will be laid across the white tiles
covered with white sheets.
