1. Recce Images
These are the Locations that are going to be used in my Film Opening. I have based all of my ideas
and what I want to shoot inside my house this is because I am going to use techniques like the use of
Low key lighting to make the house look dark gloomy and like a stereotypical Murder scene. I have
chosen to use the house because of most Murders take place inside bedrooms and houses in moist
crime/Gangster movies. Also I think that this is going to be a good idea due to the fact I can make this
scene very dark and can work with all the variables to make it look as good as possible. Most of my
action is going to take place in the upstairs bedroom like one of my recce images shows. However I
have then taken further images of the outside of the house because this is where the suspects are
going to be seen entering and leaving the crime scene. I think that I am going to make sure that I
shoot my film when it is starting to get a little dark because at the moment in pure daylight these
images do not look very intimidating and dangerous witch is something that I think is going to be a
crucial part of my opening. So I think that if it is staring to get dark the house will then show the
message of that something bad is going to happen inside there. However I also believe that if so end
up shooting my piece when it is starting to become dark this is going to cause me some problems
because filming in bad light is going to initially cause me problem. However I am going to try my
hardest to film in this lighting and get footage that is going to be good enough to actually work with.
I believe that if I set and work with my locations properly I think that they are going to be perfect for
what I want them for. I am going to make sure that I make this scene look as good as possible and
make the scene look Dangerous because this is what all murder scene are like when I was looking at
genre conventions.
