Scene 1
This Location will be used to open my video, which is why I have chosen a countryside setting to show the beauty
of the rural areas. I will again need to find the perfect setting for this to capture my audience’s attention instantly. I
will pan right to fit with the next scene and perhaps use a colour transitional effect to link the two. This will be shot
in daylight to show the transition from this clip to the next becoming the evening (time of the day the video is set).
Floor Plan
Scene 2-Forest Light
This Location will be used to help open my video, which is why I have chosen for the sunlight to peer through the
trees, to show the sun going down ready for the evening (where the rest of the video occurs) Therefore I will
need ensure that this recording is perfect and effective, meaning a few takes may have to be completed to
ensure the best standard is met. I will track across a set of trees where the light should shine through the gaps,
this will hopefully grab my audience’s attention to want to know what other nice effects/shots are throughout the
video.

Scene 3-Sunset
This Location will be used to help open my video, which is why I have chosen a beach opening sunset to stand out
and set the standard. Therefore I will need to find the perfect setting and sunset in order to capture my audience’s
attention instantly. I will pan right to fit with the next scene and perhaps use a colour transitional effect to link the
two.

Scene 4-Bedroom
I have chosen for Scene 4 to be in a bedroom because this is a
location that most people associate being personal to them, as
they spend most of their lives in them/where all their personal
belongings are. The lyrics for this bit is ‘We go hide away in
daylight, we go undercover when under sun’; this I felt was the
most appropriate location for my character to ‘hide’ at. As well as
in a kitchen conducting everyday jobs i.e. making some
food/lying on her bed. This location is based in Ringwood, which
is easily accessible for my actor. There are also many
opportunities for shots in this area for example it has a
windowsill big enough for someone to sit on and look out which
is perfect for an idea I have. I would also only need to show the
bed area where she will be sat/lead down meaning there is much
space around to film multiple angles, and I can track right, across
the door to the bed as an introduction transition to this scene.

Scene 5-Street
 I have decided for scene 5 to be located in a street to show that arguments can occur everywhere
not just inside at home or over the internet (social networks). It is also a place where my character
can start off by walking down from her home in order to help her first set of people. Chose this
location because it is a long and fairly narrow road meaning there I can show her walking for a
while on a long journey and also the two sides of the road are clearly separated, which will be
good for both character types (main character and the two friends). It is a fairly quiet location
meaning there shouldn’t be too much disruption of shots.
 Here is a google maps image of the
location.

Scene 6- Green screen
 I have chosen to use a green screen layout for scene 6 (Studio) for when my singer is shown on screen
lip-syncing to the song. This is because I can create special effects as to what is shown behind her,
being able to set any background I need with any colours. It also helps the audience to distinguish the
difference between the narrative and performance side of the video as it is a stylised location. I will
only use two angles for this as the majority of the shots will be face on and of the singer’s face, there
may be the occasional side shot for effect.

Scene 7-Field (Dance)
In have decided for scene 7 (dance
sequence) to be on a field because there is
opportunity to use multiple angles due to
its wide space of emptiness. It is also good
for my dancers to have lots of space to
dance to their full potential and not having
to worry about hitting into anything.
Floor Plan
Scene 8-Forest
 I have chosen for scene 8 to be located in a forest because it is away from the majority of the
public and is fairly private, which would be a good place to ‘trying out special powers’. I have
chosen for it to be here because there is a long narrow space with lots of trees and is also a fairly
quiet but easily accessible location. It also give enough space for the last shot of the scene where
my main character and character who doubts himself can run off to.

Scene 9-AlleyWay
For Scene 9 I have decided to use an alleyway because it is a stereotypical
place for some one to be ‘bullied’ or picked on by bullies, it is generally a place
feared by people walking home alone because of this stereotype. I have chosen
for my location to be in Fordingbridge outside the PDQ warehouses, this is due
to it being a quiet location isolated from other locations, it looks the part and
having the ability to use multiple angles. There are also 4 different layouts as
you walk around each corner for me to chose from.

Scene 10- Green Screen
 I have chosen to use a green screen layout for scene 10 (Studio) again for when my singer is
shown on screen lip-syncing to the song. This is because of the opportunity of creating special
effects as any background. It again helps the audience to distinguish the difference between the
narrative and performance side of the video as it is a stylised location. I will only use two angles
for this as the majority of the shots will be face on and of the singer’s face, there may be the
occasional side shot for effect.

Scene 11- Street
 I wanted scene 11’s location to be a neutral common location to show that anyone anywhere
can be upset about something, I will only show the background of a fence or wall fro this
particular scene as the main focus is on the person rather than the location they are at; making
it more of a location that could be anywhere. I was thinking that the Ringwood ‘a walk of art’
walkway may be a good location for this or the park near it.
Scene 12/13/14-Field (Dance)
In have decided for scene 7 (dance
sequence) (same as scene 7) to be on a
field because there is opportunity to
use multiple angles due to its wide
space of emptiness. It is also good for
the dancers to have lots of space to
dance to their full potential. It will also
be for when all the characters my main
character has helped will come
together and ‘play around’ with their
‘powers’ used with light effects. This big
open space will work well with this as
they can move around easily and there
is potential for lots of different camera
angles and movements.
Scene 14- Green Screen
 I have chosen to use a green screen layout for parts of scene 14 (Studio) for when my singer is
lip-syncing to the song. The special effects I can create with this would help to keep the audience
engaged. The majority of the shots will be face on and of the singer’s face, these will be short
takes on screen between the action of the narrative.
