make their employees invested in the company s future. Unfortunately, if ALW does not start to
compete with this issue, more employees will be lost to the Big Four Firms.
Implementing a strong mentoring program that fosters individual and personal growth within the
company is vital for the future of this firm. This includes setting up and maintaining a mentoring

patriarchal society. We are in a world where we see violence against women as a big issue but we
have done very little to dissolve it. Violenceagainst women is everywhere, at home, at the
workplace, and even outside, in the places in between. Violence against women does not
discriminate, it touches every race and at every age. Many violence against women are left
without punishment. No matter how small or how big the violence is, it needs to be addressed.
Violence against women is very much workplace as any other place. Violence against women is
mostly seen when the person initiating violence is in a higher position then a women. This leads to
many acts of violence left unpunished or resolved. Because those initiating the violence is mostly
malewho are the boss or the manager, females do not speak up and report it. Females will most
likely not report it because they will not like to lose their job, they would believe no one will
believe them, and it would cost to much drama and talk in the workplace. Just a slap or a push is
left unreported because females believes they are minor things compared to other things. Plus,
females in the workplace still have to deal with sexual harassment. So, most little things are left

The Effects Of Exposure On Particulate Matter Essay
Weuve et al., (2012) studied the effects of exposure to particulate matter in 19,409 women; ages 70
81.
They measured the women s cognition by telephone interviews in 2 year intervals (Weuve et al.,
2012).
In the interviews,, they had the women do various tasks that to test their general cognition, verbal
memory,, category frequency, working memory, and attention (Weuve et al., 2012). An example of
a task is to name as many animals as could in 1 minute (Weuve et al., 2012).
The tasks were varied and added as time went (Weuve et al., 2012). Weuve et al. (2012) main
finding was that women exposed to high levels of particulate matter for a longer time had faster
decline in cognition
Chen and Schwartz (2009) compared 1764 participants (late 20 to late 40 in age) data from the
Neurobehavioral Evaluation Systems 2 to the levels of particulate matter and ozone levels during
the years the evaluation was complete.
This evaluation consisted of tasks related to reaction time, attention, short term memory, and coding
ability (Chen Schwartz, 2009).
They found that ozone levels correlated with reduced performance in the NES2 (Chen Schwartz,
2009).
They found that for each increase in 10 ppb of annual ozone, there was a decrease in performance
of the attention, short term memory test and in coding ability test (Chen Schwartz, 2009).
Chen and Schwartz (2009) conclude that this was equivalent to a 3.5 to 5.3 years of aging, relating
to a decline in cognition.
