Name of music:The Bringer of War

Band/artist/composer:Mars

Reflection: What do you like about this music? Why?

-I don't like this music, because it is so scary. It changes soft to loud.
And It makes me nervous, I like the music which makes me comfortable.

What is the mood, does it change?

-scary, nervous, loud..

No, it isn't, because It makes me scary and nervous during the music.

Comment on the musical elements (pitch, timbre, dynamics, tempo, rhythm, texture,
structure):

− Dynamic : It changes soft to loud. At the first, I thought that it isn't play the music,
because I couldn't hear that music. The cause was sound, at the first part, it is very
    small and soft.
− Pitch : It changes high to low, but I hate this structure. When they play high, the
dynamic is very loud, so I don't want to hear like that sound.
− Tempo : I think It is always fast, because fast sound or music makes me nervous. So it
    is always fast.
− Structure : At the first, I can't hear the sound, because the sound is very soft and
small. When I can hear the sound. the tempo is fast and the dynamic is loud.
− Rhythm : It repeats a pattern of the rhythm, it makes me scary. And also when it
repeats a pattern of the rhythm, the dynamic is loud.

Col Legno – It is very loud, so it makes me scary. If there are many Col Legnos, it will be
the scariest music in the world.

“In music for bowed string instruments, col legno, or more precisely col legno battuto
(Italian for "hit with the wood"), is an instruction to strike the string with the stick of the
bow, rather than by drawing the hair of the bow across the strings.”
