It was created by Linus Torvalds and offers several advantages over Windows such as being open-source, fully accessible, reliable, stable, virus-free, fast, and free. Linux provides strong security by making viruses inactive when they try to penetrate the system. In contrast, Windows is closed-source, less secure since viruses can penetrate it more easily, and is costly to purchase and use. Overall, Linux seems to be the better choice between the two operating systems.
