• Back Light: It picks out the subject from the background.
• Fill Light: It is the light that will ensure that the key light will
only cast vague shadows.
Low Key Lighting
• Low key lighting is created by only using the key and back lights.
• It produces definitive contrasts of light and dark areas.
• It is also used for making defined shadows and silhouettes.
High Key Lighting
• High key lighting is created when use fill lights, it produces a more
natural tone for the image and also attracts more attention from the
audience.
• It is more used to set a scene of a bright day.
• I wish to use high key lighting for my magazine because it will attract
my audience more.
