13. Working of Li-Fi
• There is LED at one end and photo detector on
the other .
• If LED is ON it will transmit digital 1,if it is OFF
it will transmit 0.
• Flashing LED numerous times provides data
rates in range of hundreds of Mbps.
• The light flickers at constant rate which gives
good opportunity to transfer data.
22. Applications of Li-Fi Underwater
In Submarines: Data can be transmitted between two
submarines and obstacle in path can be detected.
For Fisherman Security: If he finds some problem in sea or
in his ship then he can send message to other ship.
For Defense Operations: if unknown ship is found in sea
then can send information to central authority
Speech Transmission: It can be used for speech
transmission between deep sea divers.

25. CONCLUSION
• Li-Fi is used in place where high data rate is required
at moderate distance.
• This system is cost effective than any other system
and may replace the existing underwater
communication techniques.
• This technology used to transmit the audio signal in
underwater communications between two
submarines.
