Effective performance demand well organised workplaces where people can work confidently and safely. For this organised work place along with good working habits are necessary. This can be achieved through implementation of 5- S Techniques. 5-S is considered as the basis for Total Quality Management (TQM). In Japan work places were improved through implementation of 5-S Techniques. This also contribute towards cost reduction and improvement of productivity. “5-S” is also instrumental in increasing efficiency of performance. Application of 5-S brings consistency at work, improves Quality, maintains delivery commitment, reduces cost and increases productivity and improves employee behavior. This presentation is to demonstrate few example, if we don not maintain 5-S, then how complicated it will be!
