2. Why do I care about LGBT
rights?
● I care about LGBT rights because one of my friends is
gay, and just because he is, I don't think any less of him.
Also I care because my aunt is a lesbian. She didn't have
to deal with many things, but some people don't accept
her for who she is.
● I always feel bad for these people because society and
other people don't like them for being who they are. It
shouldn't matter if you're gay, lesbian, transgender or
anything. You're different, so what?
3. International colors for LGBT
rights:
● The colors that people wear, make wristbands, and so
many other things that support the LGBT rights
campaign is the whole rainbow. Below are flags, people
sometimes use them to support LGBT rights.
4. What LGBT means...
● LGBT means, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender
.
● It is something that people stand up for because people
feel like they're worthless, and bad because of who they
are. It's not right that these amazing people don't get to
feel like they're good people, and that they are worth
anything.
5. The Human Rights Campaign
● The Human Rights Campaign (HRC), is a campaign for
LGBT rights
● They do so much to make people feel like they're equal
and happy about who they are
● A lot of celebrities support the HRC, including Lady
Gaga, Betty Degeneres, Cyndi Lauper, Brad Pitt, Sarah
Jessica Parker and many, many more people

6. Quest2matter
● Quest2matter is an organization that has students all over the
world find a topic that they care a lot about, and they get 2
weeks to do a project on it.
● The 6th and 7th grades at my school are teaming up together
and all doing projects on many different world problems.
● We are all individually doing these projects. Some people
chose world hunger, or bullying, or deforestation. Everyone
has a lot of ideas for what they want to do, and what they can
do to stop the problem.

7. What I'm doing for the
project...
● For my Quest2Matter project, I have made posters and
put them up around my community to spread the word
about LGBT rights.
●
I also made things like t-shirts and bracelets that I sold
in the community and with the money I received, I gave
it to give it to the Human Rights Campaign.
8. Will you help???
After seeing this, do you think that you would
help support LGBT rights? These people need
you to help them be accepted in our world.
