LETTER OF REFERENCE: RANDALL VAN DER MERWE
Dear Sir/Madam
This letter is my personal recommendation for Randall van der Merwe. I have been Randall's manager
for 2 years. I found him to be consistently pleasant, tackling his work with dedication and thoroughness.
Besides being a joy to work with, Randall is a take-charge person who is able to come up with creative
and meaningful ideas. His extensive experience in health and safety contributed to the successful
implementation of a SHEQ system in our organisation. During his tenure, we saw a positive health and
safety culture within the workplace as well as an improvement in terms of both internal and external
audits.
Randall has been instrumental in developing numerous procedures, safety management frameworks as
well as contributing to the organisations lSO9001 and OHSAS18001 certifications. He has become a
valuable asset to the company, but I acknowledge that within Randall's current job he is underutilised
and he is destined for much greater things than his current position can offer.
I highly recommend Randall for employment. He is a team player and would make a great asset to any
