• Assess situation and participants
• Plan the work, work the plan
• Make decisions aligned with strategic
  goals (e.g. Financial, Customer,
  Employee)
• Focus on the right work, prevent wrong
  work
Be the best
• Build/develop your people
• Remove obstacles that may be in their
  way
• Look for ways to promote them, even
  above you
