Objectives:
* To review vocabulary so as to activate prior knowledge about the house.
* To improve speaking, reading, listening and writing macroskills.
* To practice the pronunciation and spelling of the vocabulary learnt in previous classes.
(house, wall, door, window, roof, stairs, floor, upstairs, downstairs, garden, bedroom, bathroom,
kitchen, living room, study room, dining room, hall; bed, wardrobe, lamp, cooker, fridge, sofa,
TV, plant, table, chair, picture, bath/shower, toilet, mirror, flower, tree)
* Present Prepositions (on, in, under, behind, between, next to)

Warm up:

Review vocabulary with the

- “Stick the furniture in the

object it is and where it goes.

Activity 1:
Hello! I’m Alexandra. I live in a beautiful house. Downstairs, there is a kitchen, a dining room, a
hall and a living room. In the kitchen, there is a fridge and a cooker. In the dining room there are
two chairs and there is a table. In the living room there is a T.V. and a sofa.
Upstairs, there is a bedroom and a bathroom. In the bedroom there are 2 beds. In the bathroom
there is a toilet and a bath.
My favorite part of the house is the garden because there are flowers and trees. I love my
house!
