SONG: Ten Little Elephants
STUDENT'S AGE: 9
LINGUISTIC CONTENTS: Numbers and mathematical symbols; animals
FUNCTIONS: Counting;
Solving calculations;
Elaborating statements related to flashcards;
PHONOLOGY: Singing
Repetition and identification of numbers.
Game: Students read numbers from whiteboard and JUMP when they
pronounce the stressed syllable in order to identify the differences between 17 (seventeen)
and 70 (seventy).
GAME: Dangerous Aliens. OUTPUT: Students choose a flashcard and they produce their own
statements recovering previous knowledge in order to describe the flashcard. They can use
structures such as HAVE GOT, CAN as a modal for ability, etc.
