Led lighting for cleanroom units
1.
2. CleanRoom
A clean room is an enclosed area in the
process unit basically in semiconductor
manufacturing or in Pharma/Food process
unit, employing control over the dust particle
in the air with temperature, humidity and
pressure control as required. To meet the
requirements of a 'clean room' as defined by
generally accepted standards.
3. Classification of CleanRoom area
Two different nomenclature is followed in
classification or standardization of CleanRoom
areas.
– Class System- particle measured per cubic foot,
– ISO System- particle measured per cubic meters.

5. LIGHTING REQUIRED
• Teardrop Luminaire – Ideal for ISO 3 or
higher CleanRoom, in which near-100% filter coverage
of the ceiling leaves no space for standard light
modules. This aerodynamic design should ensures
minimal interference of the laminar airflow. Housing
should be made of stainless steel.
• Flow Through Luminaire – ISO Class 1,2.
• Ceiling Module: This 2' x 2' (610 mm x 610
mm) or 2’x4’ (610 mm x 1220 mm) Corrosion-, dust-and
water- resistant cold-rolled powder-coated
steel houses .
