Although the witches only play a small role in the play, they have a huge impact on
what goes on. The witches are the base of the play, and without the weird sisters,
there would not be a play. Throughout the play, the witches tempt Macbeth to do
things that will make his fate come true. The witches add fuel to the fire by revealing
to Macbeththe prophecies, which drive him to kill many of his friends, change his
heart, and ultimately lead to his downfall. The witches advance the plot by telling
Macbeth that he will, one day, become king which motivates him to betray and kill
his closest friends. Macbeth knows that to become king, he needs to kill King
Duncan. The witches also tell Banquo that he will be the father of kings saying,
Thlu shalt get kings, though be none . (1.3.67). Macbeth believes that this will
harm his fate of becoming king. To prevent that from happening, Macbeth hires
murders to kill Banquo and Fleance, Banquo s son. The two murders murder
Banquo, but fail to kill Fleance. Still afraid his fate will be harmed, Macbeth asks
the witches about his future which adds more fuel to the fire, furthering the story.
The witches tell Macbeth to fear Macduff because of the way he was born because
Macduff will defeat him. Even though Macbeth believes he has nothing to fear, he
wants to kill Macduff anyways. All of the witches foresights drive Macbeth to kill

The research project my group and I decided to do was on teen depression. We
wanted teens to be more familiar with this major teen issue and how it affects our
daily lives. Teen depression is a major concern and it is not fully acknowledged
within high schools. Many people even adults don t understand the results of teen
depression. The statistics on teen depression are sobering. Studies indicate that one
in five children have some sort of mental, behavioral, or emotional problem, and that
one in ten may have a serious emotional problem. Some quick facts, one in eight
teens may suffer from depression. Of all these children and teens struggling with
emotional and behavioral problems, 30 % of these teens receive any sort of ... Show

psychologist who can help you change your thoughts about life, or behaviours that
may be causing you to be depressed. Medicine is used to treat depression that is
more severe. When you feel seriously depressed and its taking over your life than

For our groups results we tallied up all 50 surveys and divided them into three

group females in high school. Within these groups we found out some interesting

packaged food item. This works well in many cases, but in others, it s actually
cheaper to buy the pre packaged item. Recently, I decided to look at whether
spaghetti sauce is cheaper from scratch or from a can. Canned vs. Homemade
Spaghetti Sauce: Price Looking at price alone, it s actually an easy call. At Winco
Foods, I bought 26.5 ounce can of Del Monte Mushroom Spaghetti Sauce for 78
cents. At most stores, in fact, I can find canned spaghetti sauce for one dollar or
less per can. For comparison purposes, I also purchased one 14 ounce can and one
8 ounce can of tomato sauce, and one four ounce can of mushrooms (stems and

1.2 Asanas
Asana practice and yoga practice are not one and the same. Asana is but one part of
what yoga is about. (see 1.1 introduction).
Asana practice covers the main task of hatha yoga (see 1.3 different approaches to
yoga) and is the third part of PataГ±jali s eight steps to attain the highest state of
consciousness.
Traditionally ДЃsana means sitting condition or posture , it contributes to the
steadiness of the body and the mind and to a sense of well being. The term posture
does not fully cover the meaning of ДЃsana though. In a posture the state of mind is
not of importance. Postures are created and held below the level of consciousness.
e.g.: involuntary lifting of the shoulders while under stress, although the person is

Asana is acquired voluntarily. A thought process is avoided, one is supposed to

After crossing the Phlegethon, Dante the Pilgrim and Virgil cross into a dark forest
where there are no green leaves, but rather black in color, no smooth branches, but
twisted and entangled, no fruit, but thorns of poison bloomed instead (Dante, Inferno
186). The forest is depicted this way to give a picture of the barren nature of suicide.
