other side’s unbaked, the side of strength, the side of what we’re good at”

Flourishing has to do with whether a person feels meaning in life, has close relationships, and feels a sense of mastery over important life activities.
Ed Diener and Robert Biswas-Diener, January 2009
Research by University of California : Sonja - What determines Happiness
50% - genes - some of us are inherently happy
10% - Circumstances
40% - depending on us - what we do on a daily basis
Some people have very difficult lives , Genes do not account for 50% of us. Research only applies to majority of people, not everyone. The percentages are average of research results for thousands of people. What we can do is stretch that 40% - its what is in our control.
Happiness is a by product of lot of activities like going to nature, act of kindness
Could be little things, big things
No right or wrong
SWB and PWB
Eudaimonia is centered on fulfilling our potential
