I thought SLM printed and distributed to my students are enough for them to grasp the lesson. But
after retrieving their outputs, I noticed that most of the task were not achieved. They were not able
to finish it, and I realized that they really struggled and find it difficult to learn the lessons.

Due to pandemic, the primary learning resource that shall be used are the
self-learning. So for the learners to be guided, I provided them a Weekly
Home Learning Plan in which it served as their guide in answering and
accomplishing the different activities on the modules or Learning Activity
Sheets. Their parents are the responsible in receiving and retrieving the
said modules/ LAS.

7.4 Professional reflection & learning to
improve practice
The aftermath of a pandemic provides an
invaluable opportunity to reflect on what we've been
through, of how successful our Distance Learning has
been, and to set ourselves a new strategy in order to
benefit our learners.
Teachers and students have been physically
disconnected and schools have been awaiting the
return of the students to classrooms. Students have
missed each other. The inability to interact in physical
environment has shown the significance of the human
connection. School provides learners with opportunities
for social development which is far from which they
experience in their own families.
As an educator, one of my greatest learnings is
a reflection and the ability to look at my learners and
myself. It makes me be more flexible, adaptable and
open to change than before.

be innovative in my approach to teaching.
Through the LDM course, this
portfolio is a collection of my work which

experiences and attributes. It highlights and
showcase samples of my best work, along
with life experiences, values and
achievements.
This accentuate my abilities and of
what I can offer in my chosen field which is
Teaching.
By reflecting on what and how I
