First Assignment
Universal Design for Learning (UDL) can be defined as “a set of principles for curriculum development that gives all individuals equal opportunities to learn” (CAST, 2012).
Differentiation can be defined as meeting students at their current level of readiness and then planning instruction around individual needs. When combining these two theories, classroom instruction becomes engaging, dynamic, and inclusive.
Using one of the following free online presentation tools listed below, create an interactive presentation that:
a) Compares and contrasts the two concepts
b) Explains how you envision blending the concepts in your current or future classroom.
In your presentation be sure to include:
How you will present new information
How students will demonstrate their prior background knowledge
Your strategies to engage and motivate students
At least two scholarly resources from Ashford’s Online Library or Google scholar relating to the theoretical foundation of UDL and/or differentiation.
All in-text citations included must be cited in APA format at the conclusion of your post.
Post your link along with a brief introduction in your initial post.

Creating a Unit Plan
Once you’ve gotten to know your students through learning profile inventories that identify individual areas of strength and learning styles, you can design multimodal lessons that incorporate instructional technology that engage the 21st Century learner. This week you will create a three-day unit plan outline that addresses students’ diverse learning styles and multiple intelligences, acknowledges cultural and language differences, and integrates digital tools and technology.
Using the textbook as guidance, create a Unit Plan outline, using the
provided template
that includes:
Introduction:
Provide a brief introduction (this can be copied from your Week Two assignment)
A brief description of your current (or fictional classroom)
Grade Level and Content Area
Total number of students – ability levels, gender, students with special needs, English language learners (ELLs)
Other relevant information (such as socioeconomic status, family background, recurring behavior issues, etc.)

How to Create Map Views in the Odoo 17 ERPCeline George
The map views are useful for providing a geographical representation of data. They allow users to visualize and analyze the data in a more intuitive manner.
This is a presentation by Dada Robert in a Your Skill Boost masterclass organised by the Excellence Foundation for South Sudan (EFSS) on Saturday, the 25th and Sunday, the 26th of May 2024.
He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. 2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

2. Now that you are familiar with how a lesson is
designed in the modalities, you will also need
to gather the learning materials you need to
deliver the lesson.
This Module will help you refresh your
knowledge on the different types of resources
available for you in the different LDMs, show
how you can access these materials, and
introduce a method of rapidly assessing them
before use.
3. MODULE OBJECTIVES:
By the end of this Module, you will be able to:
1. associate learning resources (LRs) with specific
learning modalities
2. access resources from online portals such as DepEd
Commons and LR Portal of the Department of Education
3. explain the importance of using quality assured LRs
4. MODULE CONTENT:
Lesson 1.
Learning Resource Maps for Distance Learning
Lesson 2.
Accessing Learning Resources from DepEd
Portals
Lesson 3.
Assessing the LR Materials
*LAC Sessions are included in the activities but may be optional
as determined by the LAC Members under the guidance of the
LAC Leader
5. LESSON 1: LEARNING RESOURCE MAPS FOR DISTANCE
LEARNING
This lesson will give you the map of learning resources
needed for the implementation of the different
Distance Learning (DL) subcategories.
By the end of this lesson, you will be able to:
1. assess the LR needs and concerns in your School
2. discuss and reflect on these needs and concerns
3. gather possible solutions to resolve these LR needs
and concerns
6. Key Topics/Concepts
❖ distance learning;
➢ learning resources,
➢ LR maps,
➢ subcategories of DL
Resources Required
✓ Learning Resources (LR) Map
✓ Study Notebook
7. The DepEd Memorandum on Suggested Strategies in Implementing LDMs for SY 2020-2021
included the Learning Resources (LR) Map as a guide in selecting the appropriate Distance LDM
to be implemented in Schools/Divisions.
Study this map and answer the following questions in your Study
Notebook:
1. Based on the map, what resources should you have in order to
implement the LDM adopted by your School/Division?
2. Do you have the complete resources for the Distance LDM needed in
class? If the LRs are not complete or not available, what steps will you
take to make these available? What are your options to substitute these
missing LRs?
ACTICITY 1
8. 3. What support will you need to maximize the use of the two DepEd-
sanctioned LR Portals? From whom can you get this support?
4. Based on your evaluation of the materials, are they appropriate to the
level and characteristics of learners? Are there learners who might be
disadvantaged by the materials (based on reading ability, level of learning
independence, level of household support, distance)? What adjustments
will you make in terms of the LRs?
