4. Law is the system of rules that a particular country or
community recognizes as regulating the actions of its members
and may enforce by the imposition of penalties.
According to Thomas Aquinas, "Law is an ordinance of reason,
promulgated by complement authority for the sake of common
good."

5. Natural Moral Law
Natural moral law views that certain rights or values are
inherent in or universally acceptable by virtue of human reason
or human nature. This enables man respect himself and other
people.
Example of the natural moral laws are Ten
Commandments and the Golden Rule.

Because natural law is an expression of God's
moral law, it is also important to understand
the Divine Law. This law is necessary for
human salvation. Anything that is not in
accordance with God's law is forbidden.
