My work is based upon the links between three individual snakes and the African
continent as a whole. Links such as pollution, culture and fashion are the main
concepts in which I investigate throughout my works. Using different methods of
textile art such as batik, tie die and lino printing allows me to explore the effects that
colours have on certain surfaces when they are combined together. Outcomes such as

created when combining colours of other types of methods/media.
Throughout my works I investigate and explore what the similarities and links are
between snakes and Africa and how those similarities are related to the fashion
world. Pollution is a key concept that affects both the wildlife and the population
of humans in Africa. For example my 1.5 x 1.5 metre batik piece Pollution in
colour is a big abstract and contemporary piece and is a direct portrayal of countries
such as Mali becoming polluted. I use the African colour scheme that is explored
throughout my works in relation to African Fashion and culture. This African
colour scheme allows me to give a blind meaning behind the work that is seen to
be non conceptual. The process in creating artworks like pollution in colour starts
off with several different found concepts that have already been practised and
experimented with before creating the final piece. An example of a practised
concept in relation to Pollution in colour would be a smaller batik piece that has
added watercolour and ink details. After completing the smaller piece of batik,
experimenting with the colours and effects of mixing dye and watercolour onto
fabric, I liked the outcomes effect and so I experimented more with watercolour in
my sketchbook. The experimentations of watercolour consisted of different brush
strokes from light to dark, the effects that different shades of colour being combined

This project aims to move evidence into practice by utilizing usability feedback
techniques to improve the ordering clinician workflow for placing ambulatory
consult orders. The project scope focuses solely on the design of the ambulatory
consult order and workflow. This project is the result of the need for two disparate
electronic health record (EHR) instances to be combined into one EHR that will span

Additionally, a general web search for the keyword usability testing revealed a
framework employed by the US Department of Health Human Services (DHHS) to
conduct usability testing. The searches for all databases were restricted to the past
10 years. Criteria for inclusion was limited to English language source, any study
design, and commentaries or opinion articles were excluded from the search.
The CINAHL search produced 13 articles relevant to the overall subject of the
project. The CINHAL results were evaluated by reviewing title and abstract and
two articles were chosen for inclusion. Ovid Medline produced 19 results which
resulted in duplicate entries from the CINHAL search. PubMed produced 24
articles for perusal which were narrowed by title and abstract review and those
articles were further narrowed for inclusion or exclusion after reading the full text.
The included articles yielded several more results when utilizing the related citations
feature of the PubMed search engine. PsycINFO resulted in 239 articles which were
narrowed by title and abstract review and those articles were further narrowed for
inclusion or exclusion after reading the full text.
At the completion of the search and evaluation process there were approximately 15
articles that met the inclusion criteria of being published within the past ten years, in
the English language, and being relevant to a project that aimed

Banning books gives us silence when we need speech. It closes our ears when we

think of censorship, we picture Big Brother staring at us through our televisions. The

The Asia Pacific War was like many other wars; it had an enormous impact on the
world, but in Japan and the United States it affected the way of life. Japanese
American soldiers had to overcome and withstand racism and hostility during this
time from the Americans. People were wary of Japanese Americans fighting for the
United States, because it was the Japanese of whom the Americans were fighting
against. After the war, propaganda films were made to convince people of a specific
political point of influence throughout the war. Two propaganda films that were made
about the Asia Pacific War were Go for Broke and Know Your Enemy.

representing the team you must know the knowledge to be credible, feel the
emotion and passion for your team whether they win or lose, and have the logic to

community matters, they all prove how you apart of this community and how
people on the outside have come in. The biggest of them all is the everlasting
bonds and friendships you create through this community. These bonds can last

Southwest Airlines had its LUV for customers questioned. The Federal Aviation
Administration (FAA) levied a record $10.2 million fine on Southwest Airlines.
They accuse them after missing mandatory safety checks of flying 117 planes on
nearly 60,000 flights between June 18, 2006, and March 14, 2007. Both the FAA

movement. The civil rights and protest music had a remarkable influence on the
freedom movements by spreading the political and social messages rooted in the

I am most proud of achieving my Eagle Scout rank at age 16. My journey to Eagle
has been one of hard work and dedication. Besides serving the community with
over 300 hours of building and refurbishing projects , I have assumed positions of

mature for my age and very responsible. Over the course of 6 years I was the

texting. Although it is mainly an opinion based subject, there are many ups and
downs for both sides. Some advantages of texting include being able to talk to
someone in a quiet environment, people have more confidence in what they say, and

2 Methycyclohexanol (15mL) were added to H3PO4 (1mL) and H2SO4 (3 drops) in
a 100mL round bottom flask. The distillation apparatus was assembled and the
mixture was moderately heated to avoid bubbling during the distillation process.
During this time, some of the equipment was not 100% secured, and some product
was lost. Distillation was stopped when a black, oily substance started to form at
the bottom of the flask. The distillate was collected in the Erlenmeyer flask, at the
temperature of 109 degrees C. The organic layer was dried using the anhydrous
MgSO4. The MgSO4 was filter off and the alkene mixture was collected. The liquid
alkene was weigh.
