Underrepresentation of initiatives for people with disabilities
Therefore we launched a call for proposals to specific risk
groups - 4 projects were selected
Show how people with disabilities can learn to deal with media
in a creative and unique way
Successful cooperation between industry and stakeholders of
the field

9. Mediawijze verhalen – Media literacy stories
Partners: SPK vzw, Digipolis Gent, Storycatchers
Project: video testimonials of adults in vulnerable
situations about their positive experiences with ICT and
the development of a production bible
Some examples: email, social media, online banking, skype,
word,…
Topic: sensitize people in poverty about the possibilities
of ICT and to use ICT and acquire digital skills through
the testimonies.
Targetgroup: for organisations that work with people in
poverty
