Climate impact / sustainability of software testing discussed on the talk. ICT and testing must carry their part of global responsibility to help with the climat warming. We can minimize the carbon footprint but we can also have a carbon handprint, a positive impact on the climate. Quality characteristics can be added with sustainability, and then measured continuously. Test environments can be used less, and in smaller scale and on demand. Test techniques can be used in optimizing or minimizing number of tests. Test automation can be used to speed up testing.

Larger Bench-Top High Temperature Muffle Furnace is Single set point models feature
digital temperature control. LED displays chamber temperature continuously; displays set
point at the touch of a button. Bench Top Muffle furnaces are designed with multiple safeties
features and includes a choice of two temperature control options. It reaches a 1700°C
maximum temperature. Heavy-duty firebrick insulation surrounds the opening for added
durability.
The interior chamber features built-in racks that allow adjustable positioning of a ceramic
shelf (included), which effectively doubles the working
area. It comes with complete with on/off
switch, thermocouple and grounded
three-wire cord and plug. Top quality
SiC heating elements are used in these
furnaces. Temperature control unit can
be separated from furnace, and make
moving at easy. Its PID automatic
control via current limiting phase

SAFETY FEATURES
It has an adjustable Alarm or over temperature Protection (OTP) setting that can be used to
protect the furnace or loaded chamber from excessive heat. Thermocouple break
protection cuts power to the heating elements, preventing a thermocouple failure runaway
condition. Four individual embedded elements in special refractory cement permit
excellent heat distribution in the chamber. Door safety switch protects operator by
removing power to the heating elements upon opening the door. LED display
simultaneously shows both set point and actual furnace temperatures in either °C or °F
(programmable models only).
It is 31-segment controllers are equipped with a bi-directional, fully isolated RS-232
interface for connecting to prin. Open-coiled heating elements on both sides of chamber
provides excellent temperature uniformity.
