NATURE, CULTURE, LANGUAGE
 Acoording to Claire Kramsch in the Oxford
University, one way of thinking about culture is
to contrast it with nature.
 Nature refers to what is born and grows
organically.
 Culture refers to what has been grown and
groomed.
 Particular meanings are adopted by the speech
comunity and imposed in turn on its members.
 E.g: rose = love
Darkness = hate
Skulls = Death
what is the relationship
between nature, culture and
language?
 Culture is the opposite of nature, so that the
animal lives under nature, but man is freed from
it through culture. However the evolutionary
transformations of the genus Homo Homo
Sapiens mainly arguably, occurring in two areas,
which are: setting up your body biologically, and
of course in the field of culture lifestyles. And
accompanies increased cranial capacity 1500,
some 200,000 years ago in which already
produces a great development in technological
advances but especially in language and a good
social organization.
 according to Morín, Edgar Barcelona, 1983 the
most precious treasure left in the life of man was
the emergence of language, language and
culture are inextricably linked, both depend on
the one and the other to exist, all to the extent
that began to develop the language the ability of
the individual can build concepts, acquire
knowledge, develop meanings, and from the
meanings can transmit and express their ideas.
 culture man builds codes, conditions, recognized
and distinguished from others.The culture
comes through learning processes to then
transmit it, that is, that man cultivates his
relationship with nature, and that will allow you
to mold their culture.
 The man as a cultural needs of the culture that
comes to form a bound with their biological
element in man, man creates a kind of beliefs
such as myths, rites, and religion.
 Language is a medium to that man can build his
life according to his wishes. Culture can be
defined as the meaningful construction of reality
in the human relationship with nature.
