Waste heat is heat which is generated in a different process i.e by combustion of fuel, by chemical rection. The
important of heat is its value not quality. The planning of how to recover this waste heat depends in part on the
temperature of waste heat gases. The energy lost in waste heat can not be fully recovered but maximum quantity
of heat can be recovered and loss is minimized. Generally higher the temperature, higher the quality and then
more cost effective is the heat recovery.
Lots of heat is lost by blow down so it is necessary to recover this heat by addition of heat exchanger in
between this process. So this waste heat could be utilized to heat boiler water before going to de-aerator. By
applying this process we can easily reduce loss of heat and heat required to heat boiler water is reduced. Also
this blow down water we can utilized as feed water so consumption of feed water is also reduced. But this blow
water we cant utilized as boiler water because we rejected due to high TDS. If we utilized then TDS level in
boiler is increased. So it is beneficiary to use this at the starting of demineralization.

9. PHOTOCHEMICAL REACTOR
Photochemical technology has depended upon the transparency of the fluid
reactants to the radiation employed. KVC Process Systems have sought to
expose extreme depths or thicknesses of fluid to radiation. KVC Process
Systems have utilized processes and apparatus to reflect radiation back
and forth through the fluid reactants to promote complete irradiation
thereof. Agitation or mixing of the reactants via supply of air in the reactors
tends to minimize differences in the length of the flow path of various
portions of fluid reactant This mixing tends to improve the uniformity of
exposure of the fluid reactants to radiation and adds more oxygen from
atmosphere thus acting as a catalyst for the reaction to a high degree of
mixing of the fluid reactants.
KVC Process Systems provides a photochemical reactor which promotes a
high degree of mixing of fluid reactants in the immediate neighborhood of a
radiation source thereby increasing the reaction rate substantially over
reactors known heretofore. KVC provides a photochemical reactor which is
safer and more reliable than those available heretofore due to isolation of
radiation sources from the fluid reactants by an at least translucent
barrier and, in one embodiment, the presence of a moderating fluid
interposed between radiation sources and the reactant fluid.

SALIENT FEATURES:
• The System consists of SS Tank with Glass Wool or Ceramic Wool Insulation and MS
Powder Coated Cover on Outer surface of the Tank.
• Removable, SS Immersion Type Electric Heaters.
• Digital Temperature Indicator & Controller for Accurate control of Hot Fluid.
• A Special Pump with Carbon filled Graphite Mechanical Seal & a Suitable Motor is
provided for Circulation of Hot Fluid.
• Each Unit is designed as per User Requirement for Temperatures ranging from +20
Deg. C to + 280 Deg. C.
• Special SS Braided Hose with Flange end Fittings are provided from the Unit to the
reactor to avoid any leakage of hot oil during the process.
• The Pump & Motor is enclosed in a Metallic Cover to avoid Spillage or External
Contamination or Damages.

14. ROTARY OIL IMMERSE DOUBLE STAGE HIGH VACUUM PUMPS
These are of oil-immersed, rotary vane type
pumps. The rotor, with two vanes, is mounted
accentric in the stator body, as the rotor, rotated the
crescent shape valve which prevents back flow of
air.
Manufactured from grade material, all moving
parts are precisely made and assembled with
close tolerances. This results in increased
efficiency trouble free operating life.

Air admittance Valve:
It is electromagnetic solenoid type which admits
air into the system as soon as the power support
prevents back flow of oil to the system.
Air Ballast:
This a vent diaphragm type spring loaded value,
which prevents back-flow of oil to the system as
stops. These can not be used to hold the
vacuum in the system for longer period.
Non Return Valve:
Applications: It is rubber diaphragm type spring loaded valve,

KVC Process Systems has Developed a Unique type of Flanges made from Special Glass
Filled Poly Propylene Material which is Specially Hardened to give the required strength for
Fitting of Glass Pipes and Fittings using two Flanges with inserts and with GFPP Nut & Bolts.
These Flanges can be Tightened like conventional Metal Flanges for joints suitable for
Vacuum and Pressure applications as permitted in Glass Pipes and Fittings
