The study investigates the effectiveness of various agriculture-based adsorbents, such as oil palm shell and nipa palm nut, in removing lead (II) from wastewater through adsorption techniques. Different parameters, including pH, adsorbent dosage, and particle size, were analyzed to optimize lead removal, revealing that activated carbons from oil palm shell and nipa palm are the most efficient. The research highlights the potential of low-cost, renewable biomass as viable materials for environmental remediation of heavy metals in water.
