4. INTRODUCTION
Teachers face value is a term that represents the intrinsic worth and impact
educators the significant role of teacher’s society. It acknowledges play in
shaping the future. by the imparting knowledge & for bring critical thinking the
personal and intellectual growth of students. Teachers face Value plays a crucial
role in igniting and nurturing students’ interest towards science learning.
Recognizing face teachers Value involves acknowledging their contribution
beyond the classroom and advocating for the support, aspect, and resources
they need to excel in their profession.
5. BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY.
India is a diverse country with 1.3 million population, out of which two-third are youth
(Census-2011). If we talk about the economic growth and development of any country,
education is considered a national investment for creation of a knowledge society and
contributing in standards of living. Education in India is second to none with 1.5 million
schools, 900+ higher education institutions, 85 lakh teachers and about 33 crore students
in the system. Though access and retention in the school education has substantially
improved, imparting equitable, quality, lifelong learning and holistic education is the goal,
which includes 21st century skills and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as well. If
India is to be seen as a world leader “Vishwa Guru” then planning and implementation for
education embedded with use of technology needs to be strengthened. The use of
educational technology and information communication technologies (ICTs) in education
is the need of the hour.
6. NEED OF THE STUDY
Technology provides students with easy access to wealth a of information online,
Expanding their learning resources beyond traditional textbooks. Educational
technology allows for personalized learning styles. Interactive tools, multimedia
content and educational apps make learning more engaging and enjoyable for
students improving retention and understanding.
7. IMPORTANCE OF THE STUDY
Access to Information
Personalized Learning
Engagement
Collaboration
Assessment and Feedback
Global Connectivity
Digital Literacy
Environmental Impact
Professional Development

9. STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM OF THE STUDY
Effectiveness of teachers face video on the development of interest towards
science learning and science achievement of the 9th standard students of any
one school of Bhadravathi taluk.
10. Objectives of study
1. To find out the effectiveness of teacher’s normal face video lesson on the
development of interest in science learning of the 9th standard students.
2. To find out the effectiveness of teacher’s normal face video lesson on the
development of science achievement of 9th standard students.
3. To find out the effectiveness of teacher’s blur face video lesson on the
development of science learning of 9th standard students.
4. To find out the effectiveness of teacher’s blur face video lesson on the
development of science achievement of 9th standard students.
11. 5. To find out the significant difference between the interest in science
learning of the students who have received the lesson from teacher’s normal
face video and teacher’s blur face video.
6. To find out the significant difference between the science achievement of
the students who have received the lesson from teacher’s normal face video
and teacher’s blur face video.
12. VARIABLES OF THE STUDY
Variables is that factors which is measured, manipulated and observed by the
investigator for the purpose of conducting research.
Independent variables
The independent of the present study was “Teacher’s face value”.
Dependent variables
The dependent variables of the present study were “Interest in learning science
and achievement in science”.
13. HYPOTHESIS OF THE STUDY
1. There is no significant difference in student’s, interest in science learning
between who have received a lesson from teacher’s normal face video and
teacher’s blur video.
2. There is no significant difference in student’s science achievement between
who have received a lesson from teacher’s normal video and teacher’s blur
face video.
14. METHODOLOGY OF THE STUDY
For the present study, the researcher will adopt a “true experimental design”
to study the teacher’s face value on the development of interest towards
science leaning and science achievement 9th standard students.
15. OPERATION DEFINITIONS OF THE STUDY
1. Interest in learning science: Refer to specific, measurable criteria that can be used
to identify and assess a student's level of engagement and curiosity within the
context of science education
2. Achievement in science: In the present study Achievement refers to the extent to
which the students of IX standard grasping the subject matter of science.
3. "Teacher's normal face video": refers to a recorded video capturing a teacher's
typical and unaltered facial expressions and demeanour during classroom
instruction. This video should accurately represent the teacher's every day, non-
staged behaviour in an educational setting.
4. Teachers blur face video: Refer to the specific criteria and procedures employed
by educators to obscure or conceal the facial identity of individuals within a video.
This process typically involves the utilization of video editing software or
technology to pixelate, smudge, or otherwise distort the facial features of
individuals appearing in the footage.
16. SAMPLING OF THE STUDY
The population of the study will be 9th standard students of two groups, each
group consists of 40 samplings, for experimental and control groups.
The researcher adopts “random sampling”, on the basis of the nature and
availability of data for different objectives- based study.
17. RESEARCH DESIGN OF THE STUDY
To know the effectiveness of teacher face value on the development of the
interest towards science learning and science achievement of 40 students of
two groups will be taken. Then the research will teach the experimental group
with developed teacher normal video and control group with teacher blur face
video.
18. PACKAGE
1. Development of teaching videos of 9th standard science units of teacher’s
normal face.
2. Development of teaching videos of 9th standard science units of teacher’s
blur face.

19. STATISTICAL TECHNIQUES OF THE STUDY
The statistical technique used for the analysis data will be “t-test” of
significance for finding out the effectiveness of teacher’s face value method of
instruction.
20. DE-LIMITATIONS OF THE STUDY
Any research work undertaken by researcher is bound to have its own
limitations. The limitations of the study are.
1. The present study was limited to 9th standard students of one higher school
of two reasons.
Limited time
Large expense
1. The study was limited to particular one unit
2. The present study based on the results obtained by 80 students of 9th std
only.
