This project aims to build capacity for water quality monitoring and reporting on SDG 6 in Pakistan. Funded by the Ministry of Climate Change and KOICA, the 5-year $7.42 million project will develop national drinking water quality monitoring systems, strengthen capacity for tracking SDG 6.1 progress, and build human resources skills in water quality testing and monitoring. Current activities include hiring staff, procuring equipment, assessing training needs, and developing management information systems for water quality data. The project aims to establish regular IT-based water quality monitoring and finalize a framework adopted across provinces.

3. OBJECTIVES
