This document summarizes the progress and completion of the Odisha Hydrology Project-II. * An amount of Rs. 423.50 Lacs has been kept in cost table for procurement of RTDAS
system in Odisha. As the completion of the work is not possible by end of May-2014, it
has been decided to complete procurement & installation of RTDAS from state budget.

(DSS-Planning)
– Decision Support System
(Planning) has two studies-
• Drought monitoring &
management in upper Tel basin
• Conjunctive use of SW & GW in
Hirakud command
• Generalized interface developed for
– Seasonal planning for Reservoir
– Conjunctive use planning for various scenarios of cropping patterns and
cropped area.
– Development of dashboard for assessment of drought in Upper Tel basin
considering SPI and SDI methods
