Objective:

To significantly increase Kohl’s brand, publicize their charitable
work, engage the community, and build its fan base.
Solution
Create a holiday contest using Existing and Emerging Technologies to:
   • Utilize existing social media technologies to increase visibility
   • Solicit user-generated designs from students thus supporting schools
   • Offer prizes to the winners based on voter results
   • Give discount coupons at the store to fans who view virtual projects




            Emergent Technologies
A contest where students submit their creative and innovative ideas to win
prizes but a challenge that will help raise the necessary funds for them to
purchase their very own innovative technology at their school.


 * The best idea - students learn to innovate and can win an iPad and other great
    prizes while doing so
 * SMART fundraising - an easy way to raise funds while voting for the best
    innovative idea
 * m2i Center - schools and libraries get a sure fire way to innovate and businesses
   get an innovative work force
