My team and I have produced four final products for our film promotion
package: a Teaser Trailer, Main Trailer, film Poster, and Film Website, we also
created social media pages to gain access to the current generation of
consumers.

package
By creating four products in order to promote our film, my team and I had
created a successful film promotion package. A film promotion package is a
collection of media products and content n order to promote our film and
attract potential consumers.

-Characters of the film should feature in all products
-The design and colours used should be a key representation of
the brand
-Cohesiveness of design and branding
-Clear information about the release date

An ALT Media Film
The title I came up with included the name of our film: ‘Extinction’, I
added a layer of distressed texture to give the title a period quality,
which represents the dismantle of infrastructure in our film.

In order to attract audiences it is very important to keep featuring the same characters in
all of your products, this is so consumers can create bonds and connections with the
characters and get a good understanding of the film through the characters personalities
and backgrounds. On my film website there is a section featuring the actors and some
information about them, the name of my actors are also featured on my film poster

and audience
Throughout all of our products genre conventions are present. This enables
us to attract an audience who would be interested in our films genre and
theme. My posters main image is of Lucas Keech who plays one of the
survivors of the Corona Virus, living in a now desolate world trying to
survive. A worried expression on his face portrays the desperation and
exertion he has faced.
One main role of brand cohesion is to attract and appeal to your audience.
Our target audience is people aged between 15-30, who enjoy the horror/
thriller genre and who are tech savvy, often using social media and other
online platforms to discover information about new films. From this
information we could tailor our film to support the consumers specific
needs.
