Based on the outskirts of Tenderden a short drive from school, Kench Hill
has;

• Resident Warden on-site with 24-hour emergency and first aid cover

7. Dining room & kitchen
• The vast majority of dietary requirements, e.g.
gluten, dairy intolerances can be catered for.
• All children will be expected to set up and
clear the tables at each meal time.
• Children will also be asked to clean down
tables and wash-up with their group.
8. • Separate male/female accommodation in
clean, spacious bedrooms (2-9 bunk bed
rooms)
• Single bedrooms (+ 2 double) for visiting
staff/adults
• Separate Male and Female shower and wash
rooms on each floor
9. All of the Kench Hill tutors are passionate about earning through nature
and have a background in teaching and environmental education. All
their staff hold current DBS and first aid certificates.
10. Important information
• Dates: Thursday 12th & Friday 13th October 2023
• Cost: £40 per pupil, full board for 2 days.
• Deposit (non-refundable) of £15, payable by the
end of the month, with the second instalment
(£15) due end of May and the third instalment
(£10) due end of June.
• Transport – we are asking parents to support us
with this – please drop off and collect during your
allocated slot.

14. Medical needs
• While we are aware of most children’s medical
needs or allergies we will need all parents to
complete a medical form.
• If your child needs medication such as travel
sickness tablets, or Calpol for other reasons, you
will need to make us aware of this, and a school
medicines form will need to be completed.
• The school is also able to support with other
discrete needs such as night time wear should
that be needed.
