A presentation on Course Design and Implementation of Course Delivery in Open and Distance Learning.
Delivered during University of Ibadan Cascade Training for all Academic Staffs in Distance Learning Programme.
The slides to accompany a ScaffoldLMS webinar on E-Assessment held on 2nd December 2014 at 10am AEDT. The webinar recordings can be accessed from the Nine Lanterns website: http://www.ninelanterns.com.au/knowledge-hub/welcome-nine-lanterns-elearning-knowledge-hub/demand-webinars
This is a relatively straightforward presentation that I put together for a certificate course in instructional design. The presentation takes students through the five steps of the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) and references the steps to a learning site that I developed at The University of Auckland (https://www.fmhshub.auckland.ac.nz/).
Rapid eLearning development helps Instructional designers and SMEs to complete the course design without having to depend on software programmers. Here is the presentation on "Rapid eLearning Development".

This presentation is based on a pilot study during March and April 2012, in which we experimented with the integration of resources from the University of Leicester's Carpe Diem learning design workshop programme and the OU's OULDI materials.
The slides are designed to enable a learning design workshop facilitator to lead a two to three day face-to-face workshop, or a two-to-three week long online workshop. It takes participants systematically through a series of eight learning design "e-tivities", and provides guidance and support for both the workshop facilitator and the participants at each stage in the process.

The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.
Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

What is the purpose of the Sabbath Law in the Torah. It is interesting to compare how the context of the law shifts from Exodus to Deuteronomy. Who gets to rest, and why?
This is a presentation by Dada Robert in a Your Skill Boost masterclass organised by the Excellence Foundation for South Sudan (EFSS) on Saturday, the 25th and Sunday, the 26th of May 2024.
He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.

16. Instructors Bio
I started learning about personal computers in 1986 when my 9
year career ended at Control Data Corporation. I redirected my
career into the drafting field only to find out that it was being
invaded by CAD (Computer Aided Drafting) also know as
Computer Aided Drafting and Design and proceeded to enhance
my skills in the CAD world.
After three years in the industry, I was invited to teach at the very
school that started me in that direction. I started out on board
drafting but eventually the boards were out and an all CAD
program was in.
It was to my benefit to reacquaint myself to my own educational
needs, so, I proceeded to get my BS Degree in Technical
Management with a concentration in Computer Information
Systems. Here I am again, improving, gaining, and growing in
knowledge, learning, and teaching and trying to complete a
Master of Arts in Teaching & Learning with Technology.
You can find this information and more at my blogger

Micro-Guidance Guide Book My Personal Learning Style 16
17. My Personal Learning Style
From all my experience I’ve found one thing to be obvious and
necessary, education. Because of all my experiences and career
background with Computer Aided Drafting (CAD), it shows that I
am a visual learner. This also holds true to most of the students
I’ve taught in the last 20 years. The ones that are the most
successful in the CAD field, are the ones that are more visual,
creative, more intuitive, and understand sequential processing as
an important aspect of their lives and the career they’re in.
From my experiences with the changes, the growing and ever-
changing generations, education has taken many twists and turns
in order to accommodate each and every type of generation.
Through the recent years, I’ve noticed more kinesthetic type
learners; they cannot sit still for very long, are not great at
spelling, handwriting is atrocious, likes to study with loud music
on, likes adventure books and movies, and is fidgety during
lectures for the most part. Because of the field I have been in,
there have been some improvements but the people in this world
are moving fast, maybe to fast.
Micro-Guidance Instructors Bio 17
18. More of my personal learning style
With this class, sometimes jumping back a little bit and
reflecting on what I’ve done will help me to improve and
move on. In the case of a visual learner, you might find it
useful to write things down, make images in your mind,
work with colors, and highlight things in different colors.
Putting things in an outline or using charts and graphs
should help keep things organized.
In a resent test, my results in the learning styles where as
follows; I am balanced with the two dimensions of concrete
and abstract, sensing and intuitive, and sequential and
global – all rated at a 3 on one side or the other on a linear
of -12 to +12, but I rated an 11 with visual versus verbal.
Very high in visual which means to me I may have trouble
with verbal instructions and listening skills which this
course should help to address for those of you that are in
the same boat.
