Responsibilities at MISC & MMHE
To coordinate all Procurement requirements & functions within the designated Project as follows;
 Lead a Group of Procurement Project Management Team/ Coordination personnel for the
ongoing Project, reporting to Senior Management.
 Responsible for managing & monitoring procurement activities, ensuring Procurement Plan &
Progress is within Project Schedule, report weekly progress, highlight area of concern and
propose mitigation measures if necessary.
 Conduct training for fresh recruits & junior members of PPM.
 Formulating Procurement Execution Plan & Overall Contracting Strategy, and actively
participate in Pre-Award activities c/w Sales & Marketing Team,
 Prepare Project Procurement Management Organization / Team, comprising of Buyers,
Coordinators, Contact Executive, Logistics & Storage & Expeditors.
 Ensure Procurement procedures are fully complied with in accordance to Contractual
obligations and standard practices, inclusive of PETRONAS procedures. To maintain
transparency & integrity at all times.
 Coordinate all procurement process from MTO to Purchase Requisition, Request for
Quotation, Technical Bid Evaluation, Purchase Approval, issuance of Purchase Order,
 Expediting reports, Source Inspection, AP Permit, forwarding & customs clearance, delivery,
Inspection and warehousing.
 Formulate strategies for the ‘fast tracking’ of Procurement activities to expedite Projects
material & Services within Procurement.
 Report Planned and Actual Progress on a weekly basis to Management, Client & Consultants.

Teams’ for various activities within the Coordination scope of work between
