The group begins their journey through the tunnels inside the volcano. They travel for days through twisting passages until Axel becomes separated from the others. He falls down a long tunnel and loses consciousness. Lost in the maze of tunnels beneath the volcano, the three men find themselves in an unknown world deep under the surface of the Earth.
