The study assessed the knowledge of 60 patients regarding post-cataract surgical care and complications. It found that 45% had inadequate knowledge, 36.6% had moderately adequate knowledge, and 18.3% had adequate knowledge. The results showed knowledge gaps in using eye drops as directed and recognizing signs of complications. The conclusion was that continuous education is needed for patients on follow-up care to prevent further issues. Limitations included the small sample size limiting generalization.
