John the Baptizer preached a message of repentance in the wilderness. His message was that people should repent of their sins because the kingdom of heaven was near. Repentance involves a change of mind and heart, and regret over wrongdoing accompanied by a change in behavior. John said people needed to repent in order to submit to God as their king and ruler in preparation for his kingdom. Tax collectors, soldiers, and other sinners came to hear John preach and were told to stop cheating and abusing others, and to be content with what they had.

Right before Jesus heads off to the wilderness, he is baptised and hears God's affirmation: "This is my Son, the Beloved, with whom I am well pleased." But what does this mean for our identity as baptised persons? This session follows the first chapter of Rowan Williams' excellent book "Being Christian"
Very short study on the life of John the Baptist as a preparatory figure for the greater work of Christ. This work was submitted for partial fulfillment of a New Testament course that I took from Liberty University in 2012.

The term Kingdom of Heaven has been used frequently in sermons and books but little is known about it. The Gospels spoke of it as a mystery. The Lord’s Prayer mentioned about asking God for His Kingdom to come. Is there a difference between Heaven and the Kingdom of Heaven?

We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.
