The site specific assessment analysis has been performed on a three legged drill rig
with spud cans to investigate the failure of the leg lattice structure of the legs of a
Jack up Rig which is being converted from Mobile Offshore Drilling Unit (MODU)
to Mobile Offshore Production Unit (MOPU). The failure of legs is quite common
because of the increased elevated loads for a MOPU and also being a fixed platform
and cannot be regularly jacked up down due to severe wave conditions. Unless a
proper assessment and analysis is done, it is found dangerous to put the vessel into
operation.

There are many different models to explore why young people offend; Rational
Actor, Predestined Actor and Victimised Actor (Stephenson M and Allen R. 2013).
In exploring two of these models I will be using a case example CH. In looking at

The result of the expressive self portrait is based off a picture of myself taken
outside. In a small group, we were asked to take as many pictures as we needed to
use for this assignment. The lighting in the variety of pictures may differ depending
on where and at what angle we are standing at, so different pictures in various places
were necessary. With these pictures, the best out of all when changed into high
contrast was the one used to paint. With the use of a program that helps with
photoshopping images, I changed my original picture into black and white, which
I changed into high contrast. Adjustments were essential as some features may be
lost during this process. This image was then used to emphasize specific areas of
one s face or other parts of the body above the shoulder to express a personality trait
of an individual. In addition, this assignment is called Expressive Self Portrait,
where and how you emphasize a part of yourself as well as the use of colour is very

to trials to persecution, over a million Europeans were tried due to witchcraft

Before Andrew Carnegie s influence in the steel industry, steel was as an expensive
product. It was used for tools and weapons, all large scale metal operations were
created with cast iron. The Bessemer process was the cheap way to produce steel. The
process enabled the mass production of steel for industrial types of usage.
Essentially the process breaks down impurities in the iron by way of open furnace
extraction. This oxidizes the steel while it is run through molten metal. Steel has
been common in production since the Bessemer process was discovered and
perfected in the late 1850s. Andrew Carnegie made his fortune in the steel industry.
He was one of the first to practice the vertical integration management technique
which drastically reduced his costs of production. Along with the vertical
integration his honing of the Bessemer process created somewhat of a monopoly in
the area. I say this because Edgar Thompson Steel Works provided permits for
Carnegie to purchase a number of nearby steel mills. The steel industry in the United
