2. Phrasal Verbs
The Phrasal Verbs are verbs to accompany an adverb or preposition
changing the sense of the verb that they accompany. These
expressions are formed by combining verbs with prepossitions o with
adverbs. The meanig of these compound verbs can by very different to
the could understand of the individual meaning of the verb and
preposition. The importance of phrasal verbs is that both have a very
common use in english.
 Examples:
1. I’m going to give up drinking beer. I’m so fat that I don´t like.
2. My brother is taken up photography. He has one of the most
expensive digital cameras.
3. if I don´t hurry up I’ll miss the autobus again!
4. I have been living in Tocancipa currently, but I grew up in a
neighborhood in Zipaquira.
5. I’m going to bed early tonight. Tomorrow I have to wake up at 5:30.

3. Modal verbs of advice and obligation
When we want to express permission, prohibition obligation or no
obligation we use modal verbs.
 Permission – can, may, could: For Permission 'Can' is most
often used to ask for or give permission but 'may' and 'could'
are also possible even though they are not used as often as
'can'.
 Prohibition: In the Prohibition'Can't' and 'mustn't' (must not)
are used to show that something is prohibited (not allowed)
You can't go into that restaurant without a tie.
 Obligation: For Obligations 'Have to' and 'must' are both used
to express obligation. There is a slight difference in the way
that they are both used.
'Have to' shows that the obligation comes from someone else,
not the speaker. This is usually referring to a rule or law.
 No Obligation: When it´s at no Obligation We use 'don't have
to' to show that there is no obligation. You can do something if
you want but it is not an obligation.

4. Examples:
1. You can sit here, the seat is free.
2. You mustn't use your phone in the bank.
3. Your partners can’t help you in the test.
4. I have to work on Saturday.
5. I must hand in my thesis by tomorrow.

5. Future Tenses
The future tense is used to tell what “will” happen, or what “shall”
happen. But, the future tense is not used to express a willingness
to do something. For this, use the verb “go.” The future tense is
also used to express wonder or probability in the present state.
 Examples:
1. I shall write the letter next week.
2. I will pay for the tickets by credit card.
3. Will you go to the store?
4. Shall we go to the cinema tonight?
5. He is probably traveling alone.

6. Tag Questions With Be
In English it's frequently end up with short phrases, sign
contrary, it's have the intention of ask the opinion of search the
approbation of the partner.
The called "question tags are equivalent don´t you?, isn´t you?,
really?, no?
 Examples:
1. You eat meat, don’t you?
2. You can help me, can’t you?
