SPECIALIZATION: Express Distribution (Surface, Air, Railways)-Gati Train Service (GTS) as a
sales coordinator and Outbound Division of the Express Distribution Centre (BLRN) as customer
service executive
CURRENT ROLL AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Tracking the status of “INWARD & OUTWARD” of materials, managing the operation of
materials movement, pending requisition & pending dispatches, or damage materials through
GEMS (GATI ENTERPRISE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM).
 Managing turnaround time for Inbound / Outbound Shipment.
 Effectively streamlining the system and procedures for inventory control for ensuring ready
availability of materials to achieve the needed delivery targets.
 Monitoring and managing the progress of the operation to ensure that the team correctly

 Responsible for the safety the goods and personnel in the warehouse.

 Playing an active role in connecting pending shipments to all parts of India

SPOTON/STARTRECK LOGISTICS PVT LTD (Acquired TNT's Domestic Road Express
Business)-(September 2014-Present) – Bangalore
Startrek Logistics was formed on 30th Dec. 2011, when a private equity firm 'India Equity Partner'
bought the domestic business from TNT India Pvt. Ltd and now it operates under the brand name
SPOTON and stand for providing the most accurate and right Express Logistics service to the
customers. The registered office in Mumbai and the Head Office in Bangalore. The company has a
network of around 800 people across India. Its strong network connects North, East, West, and South
through 3 Regional offices, 11 hubs and 8 depots in the country.
SPECIALIZATION: Working as an executive and in-charge of the distribution (pickup of shipments
from the customers) for the whole of Bangalore (Sep 2014-Oct 2014)
CURRENT ROLL AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Preparing various reports for customer materials shipped and received at the warehouse, ensuring that
all damages or problems are recorded
 Developing, implementing and enforcing material-handling policies/procedures, and regulatory-
compliance procedures
 Determining compliance with laws, regulations, and/or standards and complete appropriate
documentation as required
 Maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records and ensure that inventory reports are prepared
and distributed to the customer or General Manager as required. Notifying General Manager of any
capacity or inventory problems
 Ensuring stock is maintained and rotated properly and regularly
 Preparing warehouse activity reports, including KPIs, daily/weekly operations reports, health and
safety, human resources
 Ensuring all material-handling equipment, structures or materials are maintained, including regular
safety inspections
 Reviewing the warehouse operation throughout the work process and at completion, including the
daily “circle check” to ensure that all products are stored safely
 Maintaining proper security and good housekeeping of both premises and stock
 Overseeing security and general upkeep of warehouse, including regular maintenance of equipment
 Offering alternative solutions to system and procedural issues that may disaffect productivity and/or
customer service or compromise health and safety
 Being accountable to the customer for both quality and quantity of output and resolve any problems,
ensuring that potential customer complaints are escalated
 Continuously monitoring effectiveness of the warehouse-operations strategies aimed at reducing
operating costs, including wages, and improvement of quality-control procedures
 Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with those on your team, as well as
cross-functionally
OPERATIONS PLANNING & MANAGEMENT:
 Monitoring and managing the progress of the operation to ensure that the team correctly
understands the goals and any changing requirements. Initiates any actions needed to ensure that
service levels are achieved, including re-assigning duties and implementing approved
contingency arrangements.
 To achieve objectives (improving productivity, quality, resolution of issues etc) by
recommending and implementing changes to existing plans, processes or procedures.
