From building bombs to buildings, from labor to management, I have worked in many different fields. I am
a disabled Navy veteran, where while serving I was trained as a Mineman and held the rank of Petty
Officer 3rd
Class. I was trained in underwater explosive construction, maintenance, and destruction. I also
had various collateral duties ranging from security to managing two chapels on a naval installation. Outside
of the Navy, I have worked in private investigation, and construction, from the trades to construction
management and safety.

Turner Construction Company – Labor Foreman/Site Safety/Asst. Superintendent
August through September of 2008
Sacramento International Airport Terminal B Modernization Project - $235,000,000
• Oversaw and delegated daily activities of all subordinates, to include four journeyman laborers,
two gate guards and three flaggers controlling construction crossings on runways and taxiways.
• Coordinated with subcontractors and airport authorities on the completion of a new jet blast wall.
• Assisted the airport biologist in the installation of 200+ one way doors to remove endangered
Burrowing Owls from the pathway of new taxiways and runways, saving the project over two
weeks in set backs.
• Insured that journeyman level laborers and carpenters had any needed material and tools to
complete tasks issued by the superintendents.
• Using OSHA standards and regulations I enforced rules to ensure that everyone (150+ workers)
went home at the end of the day, while still working efficiently to complete tasks. This included
insuring that heavy equipment was operated by trained/certified employees, and that all PPE and
safe work practices were in place.
June of 2008 through August of 2008
WUSD K-8 Conversions – $24,000,000
• On an accelerated schedule completed K-8 conversion of four elementary schools, by completing
all site work/demolition/construction/landscaping for the addition of new portable classrooms and
modular buildings.
• Project was scheduled for five month and was completed three months thanks to coordination and
effort by all subcontractors.
• Safety was paramount in the project, all OSHA regulations were followed, including regulations
pertaining to cranes/PPE and proper use of fall protection and tools.
• I was responsible for providing first aid/CPR and any incident investigations and reports as
needed.
• Coordinated with school district Superintendent/Principals, and other officials, to meet needs
when and where possible.

H. Allen Hight Learning Center-$75,000,000
• Daily safety inspections, daily safety setups and checks

• Off Loading, staging and placing of structural steel
• Lean trash segregation and sorting area setup, monitor and cleanup (LEED certified project)

• Held weekly safety meetings covering topics from proper tie off procedure to proper use of PPE,
general housekeeping, enforced OSHA regulations, conducted jobsite safety orientations
purchased and maintained safety gear and coordinated jobsite drug testing. Trained employees in
accident avoidance, and response and conducted investigations as needed. Planned and
implemented crane pre-lift safety plan and checklist.
• Operated heavy equipment including backhoes, D6 bulldozer operation, MK VII rough terrain
forklift operation.

Independent safety compliance officer
• Hired to work as a safety compliance officer for a Chinese Ironworks/MISC metals company after
they had been removed from our The H. Allen Hight Learning Center project, due to numerous
recurring safety violations.
• I was charged with finding a way to communicate with the Iron workers who spoke little to no
English, and educate them on the OSHA required safety policies, and safe work habits and
procedure. As well as enforce Turner safety policy to ensure work was restarted and completed in
a safe timely manner. After this arrangement was in place, J.C. Metals, completed their portion of
the project and learned to implement proper safety procedure on their own.
• Attempted to curve the racist/prejudice attitude on the job site, by telling other Trades, the workers
names, and about their families, and about their hobbies and interests.

Cal Atlantic Security Solutions – Security Operator
• Responsible for security monitoring at locations throughout the United States and Hawaii. Filed
reports and notified police as needed.

Antrim Engineering and Construction – Plasma Cutter/Welder
• Responsible for all plasma cutting operations on a five-story high-rise construction project. Cut
through metal using a plasma torch/cutter to prepare materials for electricians, plumbers and fire
sprinkler installer.

• I performed undercover surveillance, filmed subjects activities, and used pretext phone calls, door
knocks, and other methods to gain information. I worked long hours in different conditions,
different locations. I spoke with attorneys/clients, and gave updates and received instructions.
• Prepared numerous reports, for legal records and documentation, to be used later at trial or
litigation.

• USS WARRIOR: MCM10 INGLESIDE, TX
oWhile serving on the USS Warrior, I performed basic shipboard maintenance involving: Wire
rope and rigging and used all types of line for tying the ship down. I handled small boats,
navigation, sonar, radios, fire fighting and prevention, and practiced first aid. I also
performed organizational and intermediate-level maintenance,
inspection, installation, and recovery of mines (underwater
explosives). I was also responsible for firefighting, and
directing the crew in use of firearms and weapon systems.
• COMMAND CHAPLAIN’S OFFICE, US NAVY NAS CORPUS CHRISTI, TX
oI acted as driver for Admirals, The Command Chaplain, and Foreign dignitaries along with
other military personnel. I helped to provide support for other base commands, Flight School
Students, undergraduate pilot/naval officers and provided training to members of other services
(USN/USAF/USMC/USCG) as well as select foreign nationals. I supervised and performed
maintenance on facilities and provided administrative and logistical support. I prepared
numerous presentations, bulletins, and flyers for the office of The Command Chaplain using
Microsoft Word, EXCEL, PowerPoint and Outlook. I also participated in the coordination of
the annual prisoner of war ceremony.
