the-art processes and technology that save time and ensure consistent exception-free shipping.
Office Assistant/Customer Service Representative
Makes outbound calls to dozens of customers to schedule delivery appointments of their freight.
This ensures that I am sending the driver into an area where he can deliver safely. In between
making outbound calls, I am responsible for answering incoming calls which includes the
tracking of customer's freight, assisting with billing issues, scheduling pickups and issuing
quotes. Audits the pay sheets and logs of drivers to ensure they are not only getting paid
properly, but they are within DOT regulations and company policy.
 Accessed a daily report which shows the incoming freight for the following day. By
following this report, I was able to increase transit time for customers that required a
delivery appointment by a full day.
 Saved the terminal from having over a dozen drivers break DOT regulations on a weekly
basis.
 Developed a system for scheduling the lift gates that our terminal uses which allowed
freight to be delivered more quickly than previously.

The largest testing facility in the area for determining not only if employees are eligible for their
insurance premiums, but also helps eliminate health risks.
Office Assistant/Customer Service Representative
Responsible for answering customer questions and sending out forms in a call center type
environment. Once the testers would return with the data they collected from customers for that
day, I consistently would check the data for errors and then scan it into the system for
processing.
 Developed a filing system for the data which made it much easier to access than
previously. This increased productivity among the rest of the call center.
 Within the first three weeks in the company, I was managing the data for the largest
accounts that the company had.
 Helped manage the biggest testing site of the year to ensure that it ran properly. This
included assisting hundreds of people at a site three hundred miles away from our office.
