Studio Production Positions Producer - A  Television producer  oversees the making of television programs. In television, creative control usually rests with the producer.  In the news room decides what order the stories are shown. Director- A  television director  is usually responsible for directing the actors and other filmed/taped aspects of a television production.  Technical Director – Follows director cues and runs the switcher.
Sound Director -  Floor Director- keeps things running smoothly, communicates between the director and talent. In charge of cueing the talent in the studio.  Makes guests feel comfortable. Gives time cues. Assistant Director- One of his most important jobs is to remind the director of the time left.
Cameras/Grips -trained lighting and rigging technicians. The person who helps cameras execute moves or assists wherever needed in the studio. Tape/C.G. Operators – VTR director is in charge of running the tapes.
