Simple Shots -11 Basic choices “ Based on Size of Subject” -XCU-ECU -CU -MCU -MS -MLS or MWS -LS or WS  -XLS or XWS (establishing) -2S -OTS -3S or Group shot -POV
Editing with Simple Shots We’re Dependent on  --Actor Performance --Focus --Framing Dialogue scenes are driven by S.Shots Editing Style: Wide to tight to wide S.Shots can allow for more intimacy w/o movement or distraction To  hide  actor performance we sometimes add movement and quicker cuts

Complex Shots --Start static/End static-Hold --Uncomfortable to Comfortable --At any point We should be Able to freeze The frame and  Still have good Composition Ask Why? Why did they  make  that  edit  there ?

Developing Shots --Same tips as 4 Complex --Unobtrusive Camera still the goal --Complete  on its own, usually no need to edit
