Turn of the Screw by Henry Jam
Turn of the Screw by: Henry James After reading “The Turn of the Screw”, by Henry James, I was left with many unanswered
questions. The two main questions are, are the ghosts in the story real, or are they just figments of the narrator’s imagination? When I read
though the essays of criticism, I took a stand on one particular argument. I took a stand that supports the argument that the ghosts are real. In this story
we see many strange things taking place at a house on Harley Street in a town called Bly. We meet Mrs. Grose a housekeeper who is taking care of the
house while the master is out of town. The governess, also the narrator and unnamed in this story, has more credentials than the housekeeper and is...

In fact it makes the governess look bad when Mrs. Grose tells Flora not to believe her. This makes Flora feel uncomfortable with the governess. Later
on the governess confronts Miles in the house. She wants him to admit that he too has seen the ghosts. But the governess does not want to tell him
straight forward about the ghosts, she wants him to admit it on his own, therefore making neither one of them insane. He does in fact see him at the
window and exclaims “Peter Quint–you devil!”(Goddard p88) They came to an agreement that they both see him at the window and at
that moment Miles dies. This would explain the fact that he was in such shock after seeing a ghost and therefore died. There had to be a ghost
present due to Miles death. Something had to be so frightening as a “ghost” to scare the child to his early grave. Miles, a young
innocent child would not lie about a ghost. There is no need to because he did see the ghost as the governess had. There would be no reason for a
child to lie about something like this. Whether or not a ghost was present is the question in this mystery. We as readers are “led
unsuspectingly to accept the narrator in good faith.” With that in mind I have to believe as a reader that the ghosts in the story were real. Both
Miles and the governess claimed that they saw the ghosts and this has made me believe this way. I feel the ghosts were

Essay On New Jams
The team at Latest Music Vibez is committed to finding and featuring what is hot and important in the world of music. With that in mind, we present

This sentiment and reaction give way to the second best part of this song the hook, which goes.
Anuh my time dem wasting
Anuh my time dem wasting
Anuh my time dem wasting
Anuh my time..
By the second time you hear Kingdom sing Anuh my time dem wasting you feel a shift from the stress of another failed relationship to an almost
satisfying release from the built up pretense.
This song goes from I had high hopes for you to you missed out on a good thing real quick, which anybody who has been caught in relationship
shenanigans knows to be the case.

Released at the end of August, Ta' Shan's "High" is an upbeat song boasting in the almost addictive enjoyment of a new love. Very much in the
double entrada tradition of songs like "Mary Jane" by the late great Rick James or D'Angelo' s "Brown Sugar", "High" plays with the similarities
between a chemically induced buzz and a physical, and an emotional lift. Produced by Switzerland based duo The Soundbrothers, Snipe and Kali
have worked with familiar industry names like Fred The Godson among others. Sonically the track is a precise blend of clean piano cords and tom
drum patterns. The light elements are a perfect canvas for Ta' Shan easy flowing melody and lyrics.
"High," is Ta' Shan's latest release and fits well in the every growing discography that goes back to 2014. The song is

Duck w/ Blackberry Jam and Brandy
Serves: 4
Time: About 47 minutes If you want a rich winter meal, this duck recipe is perfect. It calls for decadent ingredients like heavy cream, brandy, and
blackberry jam. Fruity flavors go excep– tionally well with duck, while the addition of spices like cloves and allspice help keep things from being too
sweet.

Nba Jam History
The current generation of gamers have no idea what they missed back in the 1980's and 1990's. Some people won't agree, but video games nowadays
are not as good as they used to be. If you haven't played these ten games yet, and I don't know why you haven't, then you need to now.
10. NBA JAM
Is there anything better than jumping from the 3–point line and dunking the ball? NBA Jam was a video game for the SNES that gave gamers an
unbelievable experience while playing basketball. Nobody can ever forget the famous quote of "he's on fire!", because once you heard that you were
unstoppable.
9. DONKEY KONG

This is one of the hardest video games of all time, but that doesn't make going around and pounding the enemies heads in any less fun.
5. CONTRA III
The Alien Wars were upon us when we played Contra III, and you could feel every moment of it. This 2D shooter/platforming video game features
some of the most intense levels you will ever play. I can also speak for everyone when I say screw that vehicle level!
4. SUPER MARIO BROS
The most popular video game of all time is Super Mario Bros, and many say that this game saved the video game industry. Although this game does
have its flaws, the memories that Super Mario Bros gave us will never leave.
3. SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 3
Before Sonic was a laughing stock, he was a legend for Sega. Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is widely considered the best Sonic game, and I couldn't agree
more. This game had the best levels, atmosphere, and feel of any game in the Sonic franchise.
2. MEGA MAN
If I were to make a list of the ten hardest video games of all time, Mega Man would be on the list. Outside of its pathetically hard difficulty, Mega Man
is one of the most entertaining platforming games of all–time. The entire series is fantastic, but this one holds a special place in a lot of gamers

Pier Jam Research Paper
Last month saw a new event arrive on Hastings Pier, "Pier Jam". Originally launched on Blackpool Pier, Hastings newly renovated pier was the next
choice to expand the series of nights on. Hastings Pier in its previous forms enjoyed a strong legacy of dance music events from the likes of Helter
Skelter, Heat, Jungle Fever & One Nation. These events attracted fans from across the country and are still revered today.
First approach to Hastings Pier Jam was a daunting one. A maze of steel fencing funnelling revellers through a bottleneck of security to ensure
everyone is sniffed by a canine and then patted down by a human. I felt as though I was being processed into a high–security facility rather than into a

Toothpaste, By Lan Wallace
In society we are faced with a plethora of options about everything from college majors to the type of toothpaste we purchase. The question then
becomes: are the numerous options a help or a hindrance? In an article from The Atlantic, writer Lan Wallace discusses the issue surrounding what is
termed "choice overload." The research reviewed today explores this question and explores how the results could impact how businesses and other
institutions choose to approach increasingly saturated markets.
The author, Lan Wallace, of the article "Toothpaste, Dating and Data: The Hazards of Too Much Choice", uses the title alone to imply that an
abundance of choices is negative or should be seen as a threat. Throughout the piece she writes about the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The independent variable in the experiment was the types and number of jams displayed. And the dependent variable was the motivation to make the
choice of which jam to purchase.
Iyengar and Lapper conducted quantitative research. They did this by observing the customers, recording how many sampled and how many followed
through to commitment by purchasing jam. They also measured those that walked away.
Iyengar's sample was primarily middle aged Caucasians, 62 percent of whom were female. At the times in which the jams were displayed there were
386 shoppers present. Of those, 260 actually engaged the display.
The media did in fact stretch the generalizability since the sampled population was not very diverse. With most of the sample being middle aged
Caucasian females, who were likely of similar socioeconomic status. The study was done at a high end market in California. Part of the reason for the
generalization is attributed to the work of Barry Schwartz, who first introduced the idea of the "paradox of choice." Schwartz's teachings infiltrated the
media, in turn promoting the stretching of this samples' generalizability.
The study is experimental. They did the experiment in a natural environment, attempting to make it as ordinary as possible so they did it at a market
in California that regularly has and offers samples. They were two groups one that offered 6 types of jams and another that offered 24 types of jams.

Def Jam: Song Analysis
Just as Russell Simmons had established Def Jam with legendary (and one of my personal favorite) producer Rick Rubin and changed the face of
hip–hop music, another shake up was on its way. Russell Simmons became hip–hop's first mogul through the establishment of Run D.M.C, LL Cool J,
the Beastie Boys and others. He was prominent in changing not only the production of rap music but the sound as well. Using the drum machine and
often times no other instruments, he created the sound that was in his head and took off running, seemingly never slowing down. He and Run D.M.C
were the first individuals to show there was branding power in hip–hop simply by what they wore. The infamous Adidas with no shoe laces are a staple

From the battle rap displayed in Eminem's 8Mile to the complete soundtrack of movies, rap has truly taking the world by storm. I wish Nelson touched
more on the era of the Roc–a–Fella records. Just as influential Sean "Puffy" Combs was and still is, Jay Z was as well. Those two are titans of the
culture and forever will be regarded as such based of the artistry and finesse they brought to hip hop. I remember for a period hip hop was nothing but
throwback jerseys and oversized t–shirts. Then Jay–Z released "Change Clothes" and that fashion style went out the window. Rather than speak as
much as he did on the technology that changed hip hop, Nelson George could have given us more of the artists that influenced rap as well. New Jack
Swing, personally, was more of an R&B chapter in music than it was towards hip hop. Respectably, that portion of time did birth L.A. Reid and Puff

Traffic Jam In Los Angeles
Traffic Jam in Los Angeles Traffic jams are a case where there are a large number of vehicles close together and they are moving very slow. Traffic
jams have become an issue to many of the cities around the world, some being known across the world as the traffic jam mysteries, for example,
Mumbai. However, as the time continues other cities have become part of the traffic jam and they are facing the traffic as a major issue. Although
some people support the traffic jam in Los Angeles, there are many people believe that traffic jam is a global issue, and it causes many problems such
as wasting time, and air pollution especially in Los Angeles. Traffic jams are feared and hate by many due to the challenges like wasting time. While
traveling from one place to the other one always wishes to reach the destination early enough, but in the case of the traffic jams this usually
changes. A person is often late to work, class or any other place a person was wishing to be. In some of the case, people have lost their jobs since
they could not make it to work on time due to the traffic jam. It is important to identify that traffic jam in Los Angeles is more of the increase in the
number of vehicles (Bento et al. 44). It has been identified that in the days when the fuel prices are low there tends to be a large number of vehicles in
town unlike when the prices are high. The increase of the motor vehicles and the jam has led to people engaging into other activities while driving.

Analysis Of Yam Jams
It's always interesting to hear an R&B artist makes a late night R&B song or what I like to call "Yam Jams," because I like to see how they go
about making the song standout. Is it the beat that attracts us? Does the singer's voice gain our attention? Will the creativity in the lyrics be the
reason it's in my "Yam Jam" playlist? These are things that I personally look for when deciding if I like a new late night R&B song. They also
happened to be the reason why I like R&B singer Devoni Jacob's new single "AFTER12" feat hip hop artist KUR. What I liked about Phildelphia's
own Devoni Jacob new single "AFTER12" was the effort she put into making a song that had the raw honest thoughts that we think of once the clock

A quiet little house on a University campus that has 3 boys and 6 girls encompassing it. All three boys play guitar beautifully and attempt to sing as
best they can. I have never heard them play before, but I was invited to go watch one of their jam sessions that took place in the past couple weeks for

this venue or music type for this project? When I think of live music, I do not think of jam sessions, in fact I have never been to a jam session. I often

Pearl Jam: Grunge Music
Have you ever heard of the genre of music call Grunge? If you ask anyone who is a fan then you would most likely hear mention of "Pearl Jam".
Pearl Jam is a band, but not just any band. It's probably the most ionic Grunge band ever. Their album titled "Ten" which is now over 20 years old
is still very relevant in today music culture. Personally I starting listening to it as a kid because of my Dad, who enjoyed listening to them very
much. I will say that before I reinitiated those child hood memories almost a year ago, it had been a good decade since I had heard most of the
album. I downloaded the album and realized why they had such a following for couple of pretty average guys from Seattle. "Ten" was released on

Given To Fly Eddie Vedder Meaning
In 1991 when Eddie Vedder wrote and performed his album Ten, he knew he was competing with the big time grunge band; Nirvana. Once it hit the
stage it was clear there was no competition. Eddie's deep, emotional messages throughout this album, his shaky, raspy voice that transfers from
screaming lyrics to soft, poetic like speaking. All tied together with his hard to hate persona that can be heard throughout this album and every album
made by Eddie Vedder.
In the song Given To Fly Eddie says "He got up out of there, ran for hundreds of miles / He made it to the ocean, had a smoke in a tree / The wind
rose up, set him down on his knee." In this verse Eddie is describing his life and how he needs to get away from it all and just have a peaceful
break, alone. Vedder likes to use his life in third person in most of his songs to make his message more distant, and almost more easily relatable.
The song Given To Fly is actually a second or a reference to the song Going to California By Led Zeppelin and how just leaving might help out
more than anything. Throughout the album there are several different songs with an abundance of different meanings. The song, Alive, has one of
the deepest messages that is tied to his life personally. The song is about a boy that finds out that who he thought was his father, is actually his
stepfather and his real father is dead. Eddie said "the song is a work of fiction based on reality (SK)". When Vedder was born his mom had left his
father and

Pearl Jam Vs. Ticketmaster
BACKGROUND: The case revolved around Pearl Jam, a famous Seattle based rock band, and Ticket master Corporation, nation's premier ticket
distribution company. The case described the conflict between the two parties that led to an antitrust violation case against Ticketmaster. The band
advocated low priced tickets for its concerts and insisted Ticketmaster to lower their service charges, thereby bringing down the ticket cost for its fans.
ISSUE: As indicated from the case, Pearl Jam filed a complaint alleging that Ticket Master was intending to monopolize the ticket service industry,
using its market dominance and power to charge exorbitant service charges. According to the complaint, the service charges that Ticketmaster added to

In 1995, when the band decided to go for their independent tour, they were not able to attract big, established promoters and to secure popular venues
for their shows. Due to the issues such as weather and security, Pearl Jam had to cancel several concerts. Similarly, Ticket master also lost a huge
business and was not able to secure summer Olympics contract due to the ongoing antitrust investigation related to the case. Hence, the continued
dysfunctional conflict created problems and affected the performance of both the parties. The complaints launched by rock band were baseless and not
very accurate. According to the antitrust ruling, no significant evidence was found against Ticketmaster. Ticket master did not form any monopoly as
other competitors could avail the opportunities to succeed with better organization. Similarly, the company did not either practice anti–competitive
tactics as claimed by the band rather used the economies of scale to run their business efficiently. Ticketmaster's "kickbacks" to promoters to ensure

Analysis Of You Got No Jams
To depreciate diversity or encourage putting down others has never crossed my mind as right in any circumstance. Throughout my life, I have seen
people despise others for the most miniscule reasons such as the way they think their worldviews, and even for how ugly/pretty they are. As a
result, people will give that person a negative label as if that persons other qualities don't matter. Putting labels on people also causes wearisome
divisions among people by color, socioeconomic class, and various other groups. The fact that people exploit the privilege to quickly judge others
was found in my article and in the deep meaning of the "You Got No Jams" phrase. This is why I chose this particular message for my multi–genre
portfolio.

Jam Today Analysis
An 11 year–old boy desperately wants to become a man and in the process learns a thing or two about life and the relationships that populate it in
Simon Ellis' Jam Today.
Puberty. Ugh. Those were some bad days were they not? Outside of just feeling uncomfortable and raging with all these new emotions, everywhere you
looked, everyone was going through the same thing, not to mention how unpleasant you and your classmates appeared. Offended? Sorry, but come on,
middle school was some unsightly years. No one looked good. It's a time when we become physically aware of our bodies and seek to improve them

A big applause goes out to Simon Ellis, the writer and director. He competently anchors this film on the shoulders of Oliver Woollford, who portrays
Robert. The kid is hysterical and innocent and mischievous all at once just like an 11–year–old boy. His performance not only shows his acting chops,
but also Ellis' directing skills. From behind the camera he brought out a wonderful performance that matches those of Robert's parents, each skillfully
portrayed by Helen Barford and Jonny Phillips. This is a well–made film all around, with skilled camerawork by David Proctor and post work (also by
Ellis), but the star here is Robert and his story. It's a relatable tale and Ellis deftly tackles it, bringing out the innocence of the journey, but not shying
away from the scars and the "I'd rather forget" moments because here is a filmmaker who knows life is populated with both on a 50–50 to 60–40
scale, but even so, there is joy to be found. It's like jamming with your buddies. Sometimes Jim's guitar solos are not always fun and there are missed
notes and overdone stresses throughout, but usually by song's end, it all comes together nicely and wonderfully. Life's one big song, man. Who

Pearl Jam Against Ticketmaster
As indicated from the case, Pearl Jam filed a complaint alleging that Ticket Master is intending to monopolize the ticket service industry and using its
market dominance to charge exorbitant service charges. According to the complaint, the service charges that Ticketmaster adds to tickets are excessive
and increases the ticket cost for their teenaged fans. Moreover, Ticket master had secured exclusive contracts with most of the promoters and venue
owners and hence, it was difficult for the band to use the alternative methods of ticketing. ANALYSIS: The lawsuit initiated by the rock band Pearl Jam
against Ticketmaster was based on the antitrust law violations asserting that Ticketmaster has a "virtually absolute monopoly on the distribution of
tickets to concerts." In 1991, Ticketmaster purchased Ticketron, the largest competing ticket service and strengthened its position in the industry. It also
entered into exclusive contracts with venue owners and promoters to secure long term arrangements with them inoder to better serve its clients. I
believe, Ticketmaster did not exactly have a monopoly as claimed by the Lawsuit. There were other small players in the market who were not strong...

Many menu items indicated local or seasonal products ensuring the restaurant follows admirable sustainable practices. Reusable ceramic coffee mugs
was another sustainable feature of Jam!; however, paper napkins were used rather than cloth. No other sustainable information was posted except local

day, rather than lunch food due to lunch menu list. The local and seasonal menu items provide an insight to how Jam! feels about sustainable
practices. The friendly service, delicious food, and fun atmosphere is the perfect way to start off a weekend morning. Jam! can be found at the

Hey Jude
Hey Jude – Song analysis
"Hey Jude" is a song by the English rock band The Beatles and was written by Paul McCartney. It was first released in August 1968 under The
Beatles label 'Apple Records'. Hey Jude runs for 7mins and 11secs and at the time of release was the longest single to top the British charts.
The song is said to have evolved from "hey Jules", a song that had been written as a ballad to comfort Lennon's son Julian during his parents' divorce.
McCartney said,
"I started with the idea 'Hey Jules,' which was Julian, don't make it bad, take a sad song and make it better. Hey, try and deal with this terrible thing. I
knew it was not going to be easy for him. I always feel sorry for kids in divorces ... I had the idea [for ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This is however broken at the end of this verse as there is one bar added. Harmonically to do this the final verse chord is turned into a V/IV allowing the
chordal structure to smoothly transition from verse to bridge.
Bridge 1:
As a result of the verse having a bar added to the end, the first phrase of both bridges have 5 bars thus mimicking the lead in from verse to bridge
making the song stable again. Harmonically the start and the end of both bridges tonally are quite unstable. The bridge is an unusual 11 and a half
measures long and sees the introduction of a walking Bass line and drums with emphasis on tapping cymbals. Melodically the main vocal tends to fall
throughout the most part of the bridge, barely rising until the major melody swell that leads to the next verse.
Verse 3:
Verse 3 has the addition of backing vocals in thirds. There is also the introduction of a stray backing vocal as well. The stray vocal "so let it out and
let it in" leads into the lyrical ideas found in the next bridge. The tambourine in this verse is more frequent and played now as semi–quavers.
Bridge 2: Bridge 2 mirrors bridge 1 harmonically and musically with only slight variance in lyrics and slightly more ornate lead vocals with more
passing notes but still sticking to the diatonic Fmajor the majority of the time..
Verse 4:
In verse 4 there is a vocal ornamentation of the initial "Hey Jude" phrase,

Space Jam Film Analysis
A "well–made" film is a movie that beautifully utilizes cinematic language as well as techniques such as editing, music, writing, and cinematography to
convey a story. It does not just jumble a bunch of rushed shots together to convey some story, but takes time and effort to compose and edit these shots
in a narratively impactful way. An example of such afilm is Pulp Fiction. This movie uses editing and careful composition of each scene to tell the
story of several characters.
A film that I love that does not fit this bill is Space Jam. This movie is not pretty, it is not well–written, and it definitely is not well–acted. Michael
Jordan may be an incredible basketball player, but whoever thought he was good enough for an entire movie was

Space Jam: Earl Manigault's Life
Ask a casual fan of Basketball to name the greatest player in history, and he will probably say that it is either michael jordan or bugs bunny,
depending on how many times he watched Space Jam as a kid. When basketball legend Kareem abdul–Jabbar was asked who was the greatest player he
ever played against, after a long and illustrious nba career playing against many of the legends of the sport, he gave a surprising answer – "That would
have to 'The Goat'" a Man who has variously been described by players and sports writers alike as "the greatest basketball player to never play in the

At least this time she could enjoy the drive. No detours today, although a few construction crews worked along the side of the road. There were no
alarm clocks, deadlines, or cranky customers to deal with–only the road stretching before her, dipping up and down over the endless hills and valleys.
Spring had always been her favorite time of year. The budding blossoms gave off an undeniable fragrance, and the sky was so blue it seemed
almost painted. It was the kind of sky that had Kelly lying on the ground pointing out the images of different animals and objects in the passing
clouds. How many times had she been driving on a day such as this and wished she could just keep going, nowhere in particular, just wandering
carefree through the countryside without the responsibilities of adulthood? Coming upon a traffic jam, it forced the cars into a single line. There
were those drivers, of course, who felt the need to speed up and whip around and cut to the front of the line. She giggled, wishing she could
sometimes use a paint gun to mark those rude drivers' cars with bright red paint. It would serve them right as a warning to other drivers that these
people are inconsiderate, and no one should allow them to cut in. The car windows and sunroof were open to enjoy the spring weather. There were
wildflowers of every color and variety splattered across the pine– and oak–covered hills in waves of nature's artistry. Kelly would love this. She loved
all kinds of flowers. Casey

The 4 P's of marketing, product, price, place and promotion, together these four make the marketing mix, They are mostly the main elements of

Captive Product Pricing – In this technique we put a low price on the main or core product, but we keep the prices high on the captive products. In
this way it can attract the attention of the customers to buy off the core product at a low prices, but it will help us the "sellers" to make profit of the
captive products (which are high in price) which are necessary and essential to use the core product.
Penetration Pricing – This is one of the techniques that companies all around the world use in order to attract customers away from competitors. Our
company Rock Jam, can use this as a way of bringing more and more customers to us and to gain publicity, we make sure that the product and service
is at a low price compared to other companies so that more people would buy our product and they would get attracted to us and not to our competitors.
Prices will be lower since ROCK JAM is still infant. But for the instruments the prices will range from a minimum of 150$–300$ since there are a lot
of different brands we are trying to give the customers the best price as

Pearl Jam Research Paper
If you were alive during the nineties or know anything about rock music then you've probably heard of Pearl Jam. In 1991, they were a hot, new
grunge band that had experimental styles influenced by the classic rock music of their seventies predecessors. Pearl Jam took the world by storm.
Immediately, their albums were hits. They were touring all over the world, living the rock star's dream. But how have they developed as musicians?
Surely they've made some changes over twenty five years; a few of these changes being their name, their level of success, and their sound. Some
obvious differences in Pearl Jam's history was its many names. Before being called Pearl Jam, the band was called Green River. This group comprised

Their first album, Ten, was an immediate hit, going thirteen times platinum. Their second album Vs. held the record for most copies of an album sold
in its first week of release before eventually being surpassed by Garth Brooks' Double Live in 1998. They were in the line–up for Lollapalooza in
1992, along with bands like Nirvana, Soundgarden, and The Red Hot Chili Peppers. The beginning of their turn of fame was marked with their
fourth album No Code released in 1996. Despite holding the number one spot on Billboard's Top Ten Chart, it quickly fell off the chart. No Code
was seen as a deliberate break from their original sound and was not taken so highly by fans. After this album, Pearl Jam took a four year hiatus, the
longest in the band's history. This break was only followed by tragedy. In 2000, Pearl Jam was touring for their new album Binaural at the Roskilde
Festival in Denmark. Due to security issues, the crowd was able to surge forward and ultimately crush nine fans to death. The band has released four
albums since this incident but have been unable to reach the success of their

Anyone familiarized with grunge music can agree that the genre skyrocketed in popularity in the 90's, due to bands such as Radiohead, Nirvana, and
most importantly Pearl Jam. From the beginning of Seattle's early grunge scene rose a band that would go on to make multi–platinum albums, tour the
world, and use their platform to express their own beliefs. Pearl Jam, in spite of their fame, prefer to use their art to reflect their values and use their
platform to convey their activist beliefs. Starting in Seattle's grunge scene, Stone Gossard and Jeff Ament started work on a demo tape after their band,
Mother Love Bone, split after the tragic death of lead singer Andrew Wood. They recorded most of the tape without vocals, in hopes for finding... Show

Main ideas in grunge are "tolerance of difference", "feminism", "doubt in authority", and "bitterness towards large corporations". The defiance of
modern music practices earned Pearl Jam a rebellious title. Their persistence to fight for what they believe in is often misinterpreted by the media and
the world, therefore creating the very problem that grunge artists are fighting against. Pearl Jam has taken on many social controversies, such as
abortion rights, George W. Bush, and encouraging the people to vote. They stand firm in their protests, not buckling under the weight of criticism. The
large part of how they shrug off criticism would be due to their loyal fan base they have built over the years because of their down–to–earth attitude
and honesty. (Glik, Hans, Sheperd, Julianne Escobedo, "Pearl Jam

The only time I really get out and dress up is when I'm going to a concert. I personally love concerts; they make me feel alive. I've been to four so far

belief. I love music. Hip–hop and rap are mainly my favorites. I listen to them everyday to keep me up and going through my day. Going to concerts
just puts me in the mood; the fact that I'm going to be able to listen to my favorite music and watch it be performed is just an exciting feeling. You
may even be able to meet that artist if you're lucky like I did. I like to go to concerts because you get to experience the artist live. You can

Space Jam Analysis
Movie background
Space Jam is an American comedy film in an action/animated format in which a basketball player, Michael Jordan, and the cartoon characters from the
old famous cartoon show "Looney Tunes" are featured. The movie presents an alternative scope of history of Michael Jordan's initial retirement and his
comeback. In the movie, the owner of an amusement park in outer space, Mr. Swackhammer, becomes desperate to find a new attraction to increase the
popularity of his amusement park, Moron Mountain, which then he gets the idea to bring the characters from the Looney Tunes. Therefore, he sends his
minions, the Nerdlucks, to bring them to him from the animated world "Looney Tunes Land". When they reach there, Bugs Bunny, a character in the
Looney Tunes, tricks them into a competition for the freedom of the Looney Tunes characters, in which Bugs Bunny took the advantage of their small
size and limited mobility skills to challenge them into a basketball match, where if they won they can take them to Moron Mountain. The Nerdlucks as
a result found a way to win, by stealing the talents from famous NBA players, then Bugs Bunny knew that it's too hard for them to win, therefore he
thought of getting some help from one of the best basketball players, Michael Jordan. He then goes and gets Michael Jordan, who was in a golf match
with his friends, and explains the situation they are in and Michael agrees to help them regaining their freedom. Through various training and

The U.N. statistics projected that Dhaka would be the most populous city after Tokyo by year 2015. According to a recent Japanese environmental
report, "Dhaka city is beset with a number of socio–environmental problems. Traffic congestion, flooding, solid waste disposal, black smoke from
vehicular and industrial emissions, air and noise pollution, and pollution of water bodies by industrial discharge...." With the increasing growth in
population the other variables for living like food, shelter and demand for better roadways have increased in recent years. The main cause for traffic
congestion is the mismanagement of the government to regulate a healthy traffic in the city, followed by the slow non–motorized moving vehicles like
rickshaw, the building of multistoried buildings without adequate parking facilities. But presently caretaker government has put RAJUK (RAJUK is
one of the lead "Construction Actor" in the development process of Dhaka. The main activities include construction of roads, box–culverts/culverts and
bridges and also development, excavation and filling of land) in the move to actively handle and demolish the structures that were illegally occupied
by people which were public owned property this demolishing act by RAJUK gave Dhaka more space for movement for people and construction of
roads. Thus the inadequate and inefficient form of transportation system has led the whole

  • 1. Jam Session Analysis It's been two weeks since we gathered in Chicago's 1871 at VOA's first–of–its–kind Innovation For Impact Jam Session. On behalf of the Leadership and Innovation teams, we have been blown away by your enthusiasm and the commitment you continue to display. As a group, we didn't only learn the principals of Innovation and develop five actionable programs that may propel VOA forward and increase service for clients around the nation. • 3. Turn of the Screw by Henry Jam Turn of the Screw by: Henry James After reading “The Turn of the Screw”, by Henry James, I was left with many unanswered questions. The two main questions are, are the ghosts in the story real, or are they just figments of the narrator’s imagination? When I read though the essays of criticism, I took a stand on one particular argument. I took a stand that supports the argument that the ghosts are real. In this story we see many strange things taking place at a house on Harley Street in a town called Bly. We meet Mrs. Grose a housekeeper who is taking care of the house while the master is out of town. The governess, also the narrator and unnamed in this story, has more credentials than the housekeeper and is... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In fact it makes the governess look bad when Mrs. Grose tells Flora not to believe her. This makes Flora feel uncomfortable with the governess. Later on the governess confronts Miles in the house. She wants him to admit that he too has seen the ghosts. But the governess does not want to tell him straight forward about the ghosts, she wants him to admit it on his own, therefore making neither one of them insane. He does in fact see him at the window and exclaims “Peter Quint–you devil!”(Goddard p88) They came to an agreement that they both see him at the window and at that moment Miles dies. This would explain the fact that he was in such shock after seeing a ghost and therefore died. There had to be a ghost present due to Miles death. Something had to be so frightening as a “ghost” to scare the child to his early grave. Miles, a young innocent child would not lie about a ghost. There is no need to because he did see the ghost as the governess had. There would be no reason for a child to lie about something like this. Whether or not a ghost was present is the question in this mystery. We as readers are “led unsuspectingly to accept the narrator in good faith.” With that in mind I have to believe as a reader that the ghosts in the story were real. Both Miles and the governess claimed that they saw the ghosts and this has made me believe this way. I feel the ghosts were ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Anuh my time dem wasting Anuh my time dem wasting Anuh my time dem wasting Anuh my time.. By the second time you hear Kingdom sing Anuh my time dem wasting you feel a shift from the stress of another failed relationship to an almost satisfying release from the built up pretense. This song goes from I had high hopes for you to you missed out on a good thing real quick, which anybody who has been caught in relationship shenanigans knows to be the case. JadaKingdom can be found on twitter @Jadakingdom or you check out the song and video on her Youtube Channel. Released at the end of August, Ta' Shan's "High" is an upbeat song boasting in the almost addictive enjoyment of a new love. Very much in the double entrada tradition of songs like "Mary Jane" by the late great Rick James or D'Angelo' s "Brown Sugar", "High" plays with the similarities between a chemically induced buzz and a physical, and an emotional lift. Produced by Switzerland based duo The Soundbrothers, Snipe and Kali have worked with familiar industry names like Fred The Godson among others. • 11. Toothpaste, By Lan Wallace In society we are faced with a plethora of options about everything from college majors to the type of toothpaste we purchase. The question then becomes: are the numerous options a help or a hindrance? In an article from The Atlantic, writer Lan Wallace discusses the issue surrounding what is termed "choice overload." The research reviewed today explores this question and explores how the results could impact how businesses and other institutions choose to approach increasingly saturated markets. The author, Lan Wallace, of the article "Toothpaste, Dating and Data: The Hazards of Too Much Choice", uses the title alone to imply that an abundance of choices is negative or should be seen as a threat. Throughout the piece she writes about the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The independent variable in the experiment was the types and number of jams displayed. And the dependent variable was the motivation to make the choice of which jam to purchase. Iyengar and Lapper conducted quantitative research. They did this by observing the customers, recording how many sampled and how many followed through to commitment by purchasing jam. They also measured those that walked away. Iyengar's sample was primarily middle aged Caucasians, 62 percent of whom were female. At the times in which the jams were displayed there were 386 shoppers present. Of those, 260 actually engaged the display. The media did in fact stretch the generalizability since the sampled population was not very diverse. With most of the sample being middle aged Caucasian females, who were likely of similar socioeconomic status. The study was done at a high end market in California. Part of the reason for the generalization is attributed to the work of Barry Schwartz, who first introduced the idea of the "paradox of choice." Schwartz's teachings infiltrated the media, in turn promoting the stretching of this samples' generalizability. The study is experimental. They did the experiment in a natural environment, attempting to make it as ordinary as possible so they did it at a market in California that regularly has and offers samples. • 13. Def Jam: Song Analysis Just as Russell Simmons had established Def Jam with legendary (and one of my personal favorite) producer Rick Rubin and changed the face of hip–hop music, another shake up was on its way. Russell Simmons became hip–hop's first mogul through the establishment of Run D.M.C, LL Cool J, the Beastie Boys and others. He was prominent in changing not only the production of rap music but the sound as well. Using the drum machine and often times no other instruments, he created the sound that was in his head and took off running, seemingly never slowing down. He and Run D.M.C were the first individuals to show there was branding power in hip–hop simply by what they wore. The infamous Adidas with no shoe laces are a staple of rap music, still to... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... From the battle rap displayed in Eminem's 8Mile to the complete soundtrack of movies, rap has truly taking the world by storm. I wish Nelson touched more on the era of the Roc–a–Fella records. Just as influential Sean "Puffy" Combs was and still is, Jay Z was as well. Those two are titans of the culture and forever will be regarded as such based of the artistry and finesse they brought to hip hop. I remember for a period hip hop was nothing but throwback jerseys and oversized t–shirts. Then Jay–Z released "Change Clothes" and that fashion style went out the window. Rather than speak as much as he did on the technology that changed hip hop, Nelson George could have given us more of the artists that influenced rap as well. • 15. Traffic Jam In Los Angeles Traffic Jam in Los Angeles Traffic jams are a case where there are a large number of vehicles close together and they are moving very slow. Traffic jams have become an issue to many of the cities around the world, some being known across the world as the traffic jam mysteries, for example, Mumbai. However, as the time continues other cities have become part of the traffic jam and they are facing the traffic as a major issue. Although some people support the traffic jam in Los Angeles, there are many people believe that traffic jam is a global issue, and it causes many problems such as wasting time, and air pollution especially in Los Angeles. Traffic jams are feared and hate by many due to the challenges like wasting time. While traveling from one place to the other one always wishes to reach the destination early enough, but in the case of the traffic jams this usually changes. A person is often late to work, class or any other place a person was wishing to be. In some of the case, people have lost their jobs since they could not make it to work on time due to the traffic jam. It is important to identify that traffic jam in Los Angeles is more of the increase in the number of vehicles (Bento et al. 44). It has been identified that in the days when the fuel prices are low there tends to be a large number of vehicles in town unlike when the prices are high. The increase of the motor vehicles and the jam has led to people engaging into other activities while driving. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 16. Analysis Of Yam Jams It's always interesting to hear an R&B artist makes a late night R&B song or what I like to call "Yam Jams," because I like to see how they go about making the song standout. Is it the beat that attracts us? Does the singer's voice gain our attention? Will the creativity in the lyrics be the reason it's in my "Yam Jam" playlist? These are things that I personally look for when deciding if I like a new late night R&B song. They also happened to be the reason why I like R&B singer Devoni Jacob's new single "AFTER12" feat hip hop artist KUR. Once it hit the stage it was clear there was no competition. Eddie's deep, emotional messages throughout this album, his shaky, raspy voice that transfers from screaming lyrics to soft, poetic like speaking. All tied together with his hard to hate persona that can be heard throughout this album and every album made by Eddie Vedder. In the song Given To Fly Eddie says "He got up out of there, ran for hundreds of miles / He made it to the ocean, had a smoke in a tree / The wind rose up, set him down on his knee." In this verse Eddie is describing his life and how he needs to get away from it all and just have a peaceful break, alone. Vedder likes to use his life in third person in most of his songs to make his message more distant, and almost more easily relatable. The song Given To Fly is actually a second or a reference to the song Going to California By Led Zeppelin and how just leaving might help out more than anything. Throughout the album there are several different songs with an abundance of different meanings. The song, Alive, has one of the deepest messages that is tied to his life personally. The song is about a boy that finds out that who he thought was his father, is actually his stepfather and his real father is dead. Eddie said "the song is a work of fiction based on reality (SK)". The case described the conflict between the two parties that led to an antitrust violation case against Ticketmaster. The band advocated low priced tickets for its concerts and insisted Ticketmaster to lower their service charges, thereby bringing down the ticket cost for its fans. ISSUE: As indicated from the case, Pearl Jam filed a complaint alleging that Ticket Master was intending to monopolize the ticket service industry, using its market dominance and power to charge exorbitant service charges. Hence, the continued dysfunctional conflict created problems and affected the performance of both the parties. The complaints launched by rock band were baseless and not very accurate. According to the antitrust ruling, no significant evidence was found against Ticketmaster. • 24. Analysis Of You Got No Jams To depreciate diversity or encourage putting down others has never crossed my mind as right in any circumstance. Throughout my life, I have seen people despise others for the most miniscule reasons such as the way they think their worldviews, and even for how ugly/pretty they are. As a result, people will give that person a negative label as if that persons other qualities don't matter. Putting labels on people also causes wearisome divisions among people by color, socioeconomic class, and various other groups. The fact that people exploit the privilege to quickly judge others was found in my article and in the deep meaning of the "You Got No Jams" phrase. This is why I chose this particular message for my multi–genre portfolio. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Puberty. Ugh. Those were some bad days were they not? Offended? Sorry, but come on, middle school was some unsightly years. No one looked good. He competently anchors this film on the shoulders of Oliver Woollford, who portrays Robert. The kid is hysterical and innocent and mischievous all at once just like an 11–year–old boy. His performance not only shows his acting chops, but also Ellis' directing skills. From behind the camera he brought out a wonderful performance that matches those of Robert's parents, each skillfully portrayed by Helen Barford and Jonny Phillips. This is a well–made film all around, with skilled camerawork by David Proctor and post work (also by Ellis), but the star here is Robert and his story. It's a relatable tale and Ellis deftly tackles it, bringing out the innocence of the journey, but not shying away from the scars and the "I'd rather forget" moments because here is a filmmaker who knows life is populated with both on a 50–50 to 60–40 scale, but even so, there is joy to be found. • 26. Pearl Jam Against Ticketmaster As indicated from the case, Pearl Jam filed a complaint alleging that Ticket Master is intending to monopolize the ticket service industry and using its market dominance to charge exorbitant service charges. According to the complaint, the service charges that Ticketmaster adds to tickets are excessive and increases the ticket cost for their teenaged fans. Moreover, Ticket master had secured exclusive contracts with most of the promoters and venue owners and hence, it was difficult for the band to use the alternative methods of ticketing. ANALYSIS: The lawsuit initiated by the rock band Pearl Jam against Ticketmaster was based on the antitrust law violations asserting that Ticketmaster has a "virtually absolute monopoly on the distribution of tickets to concerts." In 1991, Ticketmaster purchased Ticketron, the largest competing ticket service and strengthened its position in the industry. It also entered into exclusive contracts with venue owners and promoters to secure long term arrangements with them inoder to better serve its clients. Harmonically the start and the end of both bridges tonally are quite unstable. The bridge is an unusual 11 and a half measures long and sees the introduction of a walking Bass line and drums with emphasis on tapping cymbals. There were no alarm clocks, deadlines, or cranky customers to deal with–only the road stretching before her, dipping up and down over the endless hills and valleys. Spring had always been her favorite time of year. The budding blossoms gave off an undeniable fragrance, and the sky was so blue it seemed almost painted. How many times had she been driving on a day such as this and wished she could just keep going, nowhere in particular, just wandering carefree through the countryside without the responsibilities of adulthood? Coming upon a traffic jam, it forced the cars into a single line. There were those drivers, of course, who felt the need to speed up and whip around and cut to the front of the line. She giggled, wishing she could sometimes use a paint gun to mark those rude drivers' cars with bright red paint. It would serve them right as a warning to other drivers that these people are inconsiderate, and no one should allow them to cut in. The car windows and sunroof were open to enjoy the spring weather.
